esky boi
Wouldnt be easy, and wouldnt be cheap. Best to have gained quite abit of experience before doing a conversion like that...
lowlancer
Bahahaha it's another gem from demon about putting an engine in his escort!
RT
*sigh* why do I keep digging up links for this guy search and ye shall find rather than post post post until someone like me does the work for you. It's heaps of work putting a CA18 into an escort and costs alot too. As most forgein conversions are. Also, most people who do it take in on themselves... and no offense but I'm guessing it's a bit out of your league. I'd hate to think how many dumb posts you'd make if you did decide to go ahead with it. But here you go to satisfy your interest: A run down of cost putting a CA18 into a datto. Note, this is an easier conversion than an escort because it's a Nissan and it's a popular and supported conversion: http://www.turbophile.com/technical/con ... costs.html And heres some pictures to give you an idea of how much work is involved with an escort: http://rs2000.mine.nu/forum/topic.asp?T ... hichpage=
Gaz
Its basically the same as putting an sr20det in an escort. Ps. Why cant you use google yourself? like this. open http://www.google.com type in the search bar something along the lines of "ca18det" "escort" conversion. Then just read the articals.... That easy. Have a go.

Toucan
wid = with da = the u = you y = why Even if you can't use google you could still use a dictionary, and if thats too hard then at least throw a fullstp in between your sentences, its near impossible to understand what your saying man. And yes, go with the pinto
Gaz
150hp doable with the Pinto. 4age would be good too
RT
Whats not hard for some people is pretty hard for others (just ask lancer ) I know people who can build and engineer cars and hotrods from scratch and will say 'nah mate, not that hard eh' but I wouldn't know where to begin. RT
There goes any spritual faith I had then. R100.. A rotary would look like it was swimming in a capri enginebay.. People would pop the hood and say 'where's the engine oh wait there it is..' The only way to do with would be a blown triple rota... take up that unused space!
