Surprise surprise, Lowlancer is confused and scared

Need to hook up my lancers ignition coil, and I have no fucking clue what wires go where, aside from the one from the dizzy. It's different to the celeste's set-up.

The wires colours are as shown in my crude diagram, though the red one has a black stripe on it too. I'm pretty sure the positive side only has one wire going to it, as that's what I remember

my lancer has the red going to the positive of the coil and a brown one with white stripe also going to the positive.Mine has no ballast resister tho, and the yellow wire is not connected to anything

ok too lazy to log out , its mongol , umm the resistor it should look like a white block with a coil under it? , at any rate that should connect up to the ignition switch thats positive , dizzy wire goes to negative , no idea where the other two go tho :S are they actually connected together or are they just by eachother?

If you've got a tacho, Fairy boy. One of the wires from the loom will connect to the -ve terminal on the coil for that.. my bet is the yellow one. Red usually means +ve so I would connect that to one end of the ballast resistor and then run a lead from the other end of the ballast to your +ve terminal on the coil.

Note: If something blows up, it's not my fault, it's your car and that drawing doesn't tell me fuck of nothing so I take absolutely no responsibility for any negative consequences, any postivie ones though, and I'm the man.
