Anyway as you can see in the pic below, they are about 4inches too long, I dont know much about leads, but is it bad to have them this long? I made a new set yesterday outta 6cl falcon ones, my mate gave them 2 me n the coil ends were diff 2 escorts, so I cut the ends off all and wacked the old terminal things and rubber boots of the scort onto the newies! I had to trim the Mallory ones I got for my old Holden 6 looks a lot better when they're all sitting snugly and not floundering about the place. Nothing worse than fishy leads. It would only make a differnce if one was real short and the other was like 10m long. if anything, it would put your timing our by a fraction of a fraction of a second. the longer the leads the further the current true, but the speed it is traveling at, is so dam fast u won't notice any difference at all but if it makes u feel better, and makes things tidys and look better, then sure, trim them, i would Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
