Stupid comment but gonna say anyway, is your return spring at a 90 deg to your spindle shaft?? If it's on an angle it will pull on the bearings in the carb body instead of the spindle therefore uneven load on butterfly's Are they twins?? What kind of cable and shaft setup are u running? Sorry bout the questions carbs are a bit of a passion for me

Spent a whole heap of time tidying stuff and fixing stuff to take it to hardpark then it gets postponed !! Gutted On the other hand I have far less vibration spaced gearbox down and another wheel alignment Bigger main jets and more timing now have bang on 32 degrees total advance. Changed oil and bleed brakes got linelock in and wires run up to the dash made up a switch panel for msd kill,2 step rev limit,fuel pump And linelock which looks choice as Far more enjoyable to drive now and can skid now too Really need an LSD now so am saving up for that Will post photos soon

So besides getting a few kays on the old beast and sorting out some more teething problems shes going good as!!! had some wee issues with the msd and distributor, centrifugal advance wasent working and resulted in a wicked high rpm rattle/detonation knock also gonna have the lower rear arms off over winter and cut a section out and tap a thread in it with a couple of locking nuts each end to make the pinion angle adjustable seeing some of the other projects on here gives me a bit of urge to maybe tidy a whole heap off stuff up!!!! Choice i mite shoot off outside and give it a wash

Well usual story of not updating for ages ay!!!!!!!! Big thanks has to go to my bro Nathan for the wheels cheers man Have since got quite a bit done but tbh sick of spending money on the old girl So fitted some 195/45/14 toyos look awesome too Had an h165 diff gifted to me so got it 4 linked s14 brakes new seals w/b and d/s uni joints Sorted a few minor issues with the tune of the engine ie low comp on two cylinders timing and fuel press problems now sorted also Fitted up the 280z mirrors that Nate swapped me Done some kays on her and now goes real good but smokes pretty bad so am now thinking a vh45 could be the go Please give me your thoughts would love to hear them

the front coilovers are 910 bluebird uprights with collars welded on series 1 rx7 shocks s13 bc camber tops and zeal coilover springs and keepers i also put in new wheel bearings new disc rotors and just some bendix pads seems to stop ok and rides real mint now its had a wheel alignment rear sus is merc super low springs with n10 pulsar shocks and nolathne everywhere front strut brace was a custom by myself and have also made a rear one but havent finished it yeah factory colors are sick as hell id have to concour with chickitys comment

haha what a dick!!! well had a fair bit of progress from the last time i was on here sorry its been so long... polished the death outta those wheels fitted some 195/45/14s got the diff sorted narrowed and s14 discs etc 4 linked on it also spaced the front wheels out some whipped the motor out and freshened it up was gonna put in me hydraulic handbrake setup in too but seen a post on here thats made me think otherwise will put up some more pics when nate gets time hahaha
