  2. Found an N600, do I or do I not :'(
  3. I dont know how many people in the 7 years ive been on nzhondas have come in saying they want to make a rear wheel drive integra/or civic (There's been a few tbh), then last year 2 guys actually started to build them. There's this one above, and then one who's building an FR version in a civic with S13 gear effectively https://nzhondas.com/topic/152020-codys-eg9-powered-by-a-nsx-heart/?page=16 There was also that one with the SR20 which Grant at GT refinishers did, that was cool too
  4. I need your wisdoms, does anyone think this is good/worth it? http://www.ecotrons.com/products/400cc_to_800cc_engine_fuel_injection_kit/
  5. Electronic ignition added. Nothing much, just pleasure knowing I dont have to deal with points again. Got a few things to conveniently fix over the net 6 months before next WOF. Underside of car is looking less than desirable, need new tyres, brakes need adjusting. I purchased an 1100 for this, so hopefully tidy it up and see what it's got going on. I should learn how to strip down the simplest motor in the world.
  6. Pics as sorta promised... well these are just a few from my Coke Club visit (the tuner shop). Still looking through relevant stuff for N360. Will be putting together my model soon too that I picked up from Japan, pics to come too. Been a year since buying it, feel sad I havent done a lot, soon tho bby, soon. Cleaning out garage more and more to get back into it so I may require you beautiful peoples help for how to old car things.Hoping to get the brake components removed and cleaned etc this year. A visit to ABC is soon i think CokeClubs race car, custom suspension, flares etc. Pretty damn cool Me cutting deals with the owner Takashi. View from upstairs office Stepvan that makes me all sorts of wet The workshop The workshop sign
  7. Maaate, friend and I pretty much did this swap in half a day. Cool build though, real fun and has plenty of kick for a wee hunk of crap There's lots of info on Civicwagon.com if you need it
  8. You know what would look really nice in your engine bay, fuel injection Oh look what I found //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/49034-fs-4g5024-rwd-fi-intake-manifold-loom-dizzy-ecu/ Your car looks great tho, very jealous, I had a dream to get one of these, thus the FI swap. But ive got in this rut on crappy hondas. Love your work
  9. Tried to contact spud hunters guy who knows of that pink n360 in Kyoto. Hasn't replied
  10. Side mission. Went to Japan casually. Visited tuner shop for n360s in Osaka. Got me a head gasket. Woo. Couple oil filters, n360 1:24 model. This place is amazing. Will post pictures when I'm home
  11. Discuss here Build for reference - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/52424-sirges-1981-leyland-mini/
  12. A year down the track we decided to fix up a few things are we're using this car for our wedding. So: - Flares - Wheels installed - 10" Wards - Internal bonnet release from newer mini - Front grill to match internal bonnet release (Old one used to be able to access from outside the car) - Black wing mirrors to match the car's theme (Only had drivers side one before, was a bit of a hack job)
  13. Day we got it ish back in March 2015. It's my partners car, she decided to get rid of her Accord and get this. Not complaining. 1981 Leyland 'City Edition' with black bumpers etc. Was originally brown at some point in it's life, now purple. Tan interior. Fairly rustless version of the car. Plans include keeping it legal, adjusting a few cosmetic enhancements without ruining the classic nature of the car and that's about it.
  14. Pics of setup?
  15. Friends crown looks absolutely stunning on 14s, but he's got the shape before yours. Possibly some inspiration?
  16. Yea, one of the downsides of this whole build/discussion scenario
  17. Hang on a minute, 2 fuel tanks. Im going to let this settle in. It's pretty cool. Secondly, I got a slight rise out of the concept of a twincharged mini. You should think about it, and obviously seriously consider it.
  18. Oh lord, why did you tell us this. *Starts to rummage site* Friend in Dunedin potentially has 12" SSR Mesh for sale? - http://snag.gy/OMYpE.jpg Here's my mini (Sorry best shot ive got at the moment) 10's look best IMO, makes it unique from all other cars on the road by having tiny wheels
  19. Frost Motorsport - https://www.facebook.com/FrostMotorsport/
  20. Got it idling. And bonus points, it moved under it's own steam about 10cm (We're in a pretty tight garage!) But after warming it up completely, few things to note: still potentially a missfire in there somewhere, running rich, still only has 85psi compression (Should have 160) Guess a rebuild is in order. 2016 perhaps I can figure something out. Before I rebuild however, I'll probably do some Italian tuning. Maybe try that sea foam stuff or whatever its called? I needs someone to either bring me a leak-down tester or help me feeler gauge the valves to see if the issue exists there. In other news, found out you can bore the sleeves on these bad boys and run EB1 Civic pistons, giving us ~400cc, newer/easier to find piston rings. May give me that 3hp I need to beat the Mrs' Mini in a micro-car drag race Next on the list is to put it up on stands and pull all the brakes off and rebuild. Then when that's done I can bring her outside and hoon (See: "Go fucking slow") down the road. Excitement level 4.
  21. There's only so much you can do in 30 seconds eh?
  22. Totally could have come too... oh well, next time
  23. There was a Honda 360 meet in the weekend in Japan. Hilarious video. https://www.facebook.com/neolife360/videos/778094092336639 God I want one of those vans, so cool.
  24. But we're all hoping for a bit of this
