  1. Abc in Wellington can redo brake shoes for 60 for 4 shoes (these were 7" drums so would be slightly more expensive no doubt). But pretty cheap no doubt
  2. Late to the party, but you can get bluetooth -> tapes. Keep your old radio and tape player and play bluetooth from your phone onto it
  3. Deal, I'll just take that red starlet you have and you can play with those British cars all you want
  4. Can always take a photo of what you need an someone could get if for you no doubt Alternatively there's an classic honda guru who lives in Nelson who might be able to source a part from spares etc
  5. Pick a part man, have done it heaps of times before. More than likely the distributor plugs form the same era will be the same. I made an OBD2 to OBD1 distributor adaptor harness for like $3
  6. Open door slightly, put scissor jack under end to take the weight, then undo bolts, adjust height with scissor jack, do bolts back up? This might help with seeing if the hinge has any slop in it too perhaps?
  7. Can you turn 1 of the headlights into a monacle? With a sweet chain hanging somewhoere, then add a moustache on the front bumper and potentially a bubble hat sticker as the front badge of the car. Gentlemens car (Y)

  12. I dont know how many people in the 7 years ive been on nzhondas have come in saying they want to make a rear wheel drive integra/or civic (There's been a few tbh), then last year 2 guys actually started to build them. There's this one above, and then one who's building an FR version in a civic with S13 gear effectively https://nzhondas.com/topic/152020-codys-eg9-powered-by-a-nsx-heart/?page=16 There was also that one with the SR20 which Grant at GT refinishers did, that was cool too
  13. I need your wisdoms, does anyone think this is good/worth it? http://www.ecotrons.com/products/400cc_to_800cc_engine_fuel_injection_kit/
  14. Electronic ignition added. Nothing much, just pleasure knowing I dont have to deal with points again. Got a few things to conveniently fix over the net 6 months before next WOF. Underside of car is looking less than desirable, need new tyres, brakes need adjusting. I purchased an 1100 for this, so hopefully tidy it up and see what it's got going on. I should learn how to strip down the simplest motor in the world.
  15. Pics as sorta promised... well these are just a few from my Coke Club visit (the tuner shop). Still looking through relevant stuff for N360. But ive got in this rut on crappy hondas. Love your work

  19. Side mission. Went to Japan casually. Visited tuner shop for n360s in Osaka. Got me a head gasket. Woo. Couple oil filters, n360 1:24 model. This place is amazing. Will post pictures when I'm home
  20. Discuss here Build for reference - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/52424-sirges-1981-leyland-mini/
  21. A year down the track we decided to fix up a few things are we're using this car for our wedding. So: - Flares - Wheels installed - 10" Wards - Internal bonnet release from newer mini - Front grill to match internal bonnet release (Old one used to be able to access from outside the car) - Black wing mirrors to match the car's theme (Only had drivers side one before, was a bit of a hack job)
  22. Day we got it ish back in March 2015. It's my partners car, she decided to get rid of her Accord and get this. Not complaining. 1981 Leyland 'City Edition' with black bumpers etc. Was originally brown at some point in it's life, now purple. Tan interior. Fairly rustless version of the car. Plans include keeping it legal, adjusting a few cosmetic enhancements without ruining the classic nature of the car and that's about it.
