  1. Build Thread So cool.. i like the white writing on the inside of the tyres, and how high it is!
  2. Fuck that^ was weird. Magic sandpaper, glued on hap-hazard threads and all. What a fuck up. Wonder how long it lasted.
  3. I'm thinking full twin 2.5" (with crossover), with a Dynomax Superturbo muffler in each pipe, placed about where each of your current mufflers are placed.
  4. The Shock Shop Penrose i have found very useful in the past: http://www.shockshop.co.nz/shop-locator/shockshop-penrose/
  5. Good job, ride height looks near perfect to me.. maybe could be half an inch lower in the back tho still
  6. For anyone interested the source of the above diagram is from this thread: http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=33676&start=0 The diagram above is on the second page of the thread.
  7. Looks like a diagram from ausrotary.. i put a s6 alt in my rx2 using the diagram from there. I can't remember exactly but i think the L is an earth, mine is connected up to a relay to run the dash light as per their diagram. To answer your question though, sorry i don't know the answer. i've never run mine without the L hooked up, but i'm guessing the alt will still function. Someone else will know more..
  8. Yep, heaps of brands do for hd motorcycles (spectro, amsoil etc.). I use mobil 1 v twin 20 50.
  9. Those new lights suit the car and paint sweet.
  10. Love it! Build thread: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/51627-lord-gruntfuttocks-1971-xy-fairmont/ I had an xw falcon 3.6 when I was a kid. Was a good car, but a factory 302 Fairmont is in another league. Nice car, love all the chrome.
  11. Leaf springs because ute. They are stronger. Like Hyundai iload (load carrying van) has leafs, and imax (people carrying van) has coils and upper and lower arms, for example.
  12. However, having said all that I must point out the glaringly obvious here; it is illegal to tamper with a vehicle identifier in any way, and that includes obliteration.
  13. FYI FWIW, I've seen cars with tag, no vin, and no chassis stamp, with a wof.. and I've seen a car with a home made chassis stamp with a wof.
  14. I searched all that years ago and I came up with; if you muck around with a chassis stamp to the point it wont be accepted as a vehicle identifier at wof/cert time, and you have no other acceptable vehicle identifier, then you will have to have a vin assigned/attached. Procedure for that is in govt pdfs that can be searched and found online. If you muck around with your chassis stamp and you're the only person who knows (ie. come wof/cert time no problem with vehicle identifier) then what's the problem? Your conscience? Lol.
  15. Google search 'affixing a vin' and have a look.. at least at every link on first page.
