  1. Can make some out of your standard struts with sleeves. 86 stuff carries quite a price tag
  2. They should do yes. Otherwise get some ae86 mounts. Will need to sort out fuel pump if going injected. Vl pump is good enough for that job.
  3. This will be the first meet ive missed since I started going I think.
  4. Bought Dylanns jzx90 for the engine. Greer (chees-) came rount to help me rip it out but we got lazy. Nearly out though. And had some jza70 engine mounts show up which means it will bolt straight in.
  5. Still havent seen a picture of underneath it.
  6. Not a whole lot of progress as have been working too much. But thanks to a couple of specimens i now have my gearbox. Rebuilt W58, JZ bell, new clutch and light weight flywheel
  7. Finally got some tires on the equips, and tried them on. As you can see, there is a slight issue. Will be going to 165/65 from 185/55 for more clearance, and a slight guard roll. Will maybe go to a 165 on the front as well, 175/60 in this photo. Also had some factory side skirts show up as well as a rear sump set up. Just need JZA70 engine mounts and then the engine can go in once i pick it up.
  8. Project thread: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/46383-andy-gals-gx60-mark-ii-wagon/ Sell to me plz k thnks bye
  9. So I've finally got round to doing this. Ended up with znoelli 15mm spacers. Have cut the stustuds back flush with the nuts, which was only about 5mm. When the wheel is on, the nut is only slightly touching the wheel. If I took another 2mm off the nut and stud, would this be a problem? The nit is 16mm thick, and there is 6 mm from the face of the nut to the face of the adaptor.
  10. Fully thought this was going to be progress. Got all excited for a second
  11. Rainy meets tend to bring more people. Don't think they will all fit downstairs
  12. I've always been told to have the deflection the same thickness as the belt. Is what I have done and never had slippage/problems
  13. Don't keep your foot up oover ripple strips/don't do ridiculous launches and you'll be fine
