what about the gearboxes that they put in the 2wd dodge rams/f250s etc.? I dont know anything about them but thats just what came to mind.

ok its definately aftermarket then but hoooooooold on. you've removed the factory fan set up and now you have no fan to draw air through the radiator??.. or am I missing something?

if you get bored/feel like it take the rear speaker covers out and have a look if theres mounts under there for shoulder belts like mine does. Id be curious to know if any others have this, from what Ive come across its an aftermarket thing. mount can be seen on the top right corner in the last pic.

oh it was just in those photos. looks like the left rear wheel has lost its shineyness/is a lil patchy. Im just being picky hahah. looks good otherwise.

looks tidy as for 110,000 miles. fix whatever it is thats making the left rear wheel look funny and leave the rest alone. or else you might want to strip the whole underside to inspect for rust, theres a series 2 on retro rides and it was all rusted around the trailing arm mounts, wheel well, floors etc.

slightly off topic, does anyone know what the manual box that goes behind the 1kz in the manual supercustoms? or even what the gearbox is thats used in hiaces that have a 1kz but are 4wd? R15x?

was talking about that rx3 thats on trademe with no paperwork, hence the winky face haha. wheres the rust? usually easier to get the re-viner to look at the car and tell you what they will want a repair cert for.

does that relate to what I think it relates to... if the rust is structural it needs a repair cert.

dumb idea. give me the 1kz instead dont put a G series box behind it, they have the worst ratios in the world unless your towing your house. and I think they explode with the extra torque of the 1KZ

so yesterday I went for a drive and picked up some stuff however not all of that is my stuff, this is my stuff the big box holds a new windscreen, the little box contains the brakes for the gift wrapped series 3 rear end, so now my pcd is the same all round. A bonus was finding out the diff appears to have an LSD in it. I utilised only the best measuring tools: a tape measure, stick and a piece of string to come up with some dimensions for wheels. and got some longchamps in 15x6.5 +18. intended to put these on the front so today did the mandatory test fit/ shitty photo op. the lip sticks out a smidge, unfortunately I'm not a fan of tyre stretch and don't reaaaaaaally want to drag the guards out much so I duno. Also I want wider wheels on the back (so I can fit bigger feet) and the wider versions dont come in high enough offsets so was thinking of getting another pair of narrower ones and have new inner shells made up. but meh, knowing me I'll probably change my mind on the wheels. link to the opinions/criticism thread is in my sig

series 3 rx7 discs/hubs are 4x114.3 and are one piece, ie. not seperate.

flag 1kd turbo and install twin turbos plllleeeeaassseee/just coz. think we needa see this on a dyno....
