Classic car meet on Sunday at governors bay pub. 10ish for breakfast. Early for a Sunday, but all sorts of vintage/old cars . Good coffee too...

Was good to catch up again and meet people in the flesh. A+++ would trade again.....

still side valve at the moment, but got a 4ke and 5 speed, plus starlet diff and marina/corolla front discs to go in. cheers.

up on stands, waiting for the chop tomorrrow... all interior and glass ripped out, paint stripped back, would be cutting it now if the rain would stop.

bike is now all back together with replacement oe panels. different colours, but back on the road. drag racing at ruapuna tomorrow, bike only meet. keen to see what it will do on the 1/4 mile, hoping for low 11s, high 10s.

Everyone is off to orton bradley park, diamond harbour. Will get pics there.

second time its been down, same side too. aquaplaned off the end of the straight at ruapuna in horrendous rain. they actually bounce well. my 43 yr old frame not so well. but yes, awesome bikes. everything you have heard about them is true.

bad earth, the indicator bulb is not earthing through the body, but through the park lights to earth. also check trailer plug wiring if it has one, common place for mistakes.

in the past i have used a 6v mechanical flasher unit per side and just hold the switch on. harleys have this system, are sensitive to bulb wattage.
