Stage 1 testing of 00 grease is positive; There isn't any on the floor, the gearbox holds gears better, and it seems to provide sufficent lubrication once warm. In other news, my bike swoons tooth-less white trash women, unsure if it is a positive effect, further testing will be required.

It should be easy enough, I have had old forks apart before usually involves a big allen key type thing that you put down the centre of the stanchion. Is it the spring rate that is too soft or the damping?

Thrown a compression tester at it? What about vacuum leaks?

Is the idle screw set properly? what about the vacuum advance?

hahaha. I also replaced the leather washer on the drain plug with a copper one, so that could have contributed to the lack of leaks.

Yea use any carb, there is no need for any referencing on a draw through, the carb just sees a bigger motor. Get a 2" SU, or even one dcoe or similar. Oh and the factory Fiat carb is the limiting factor hence EFI
