in my pinto i ran a fr22 cam , stainless oversize valves, massive porting job , port matched manifolds , upgraded valvesprings. adjustable cam wheel. skimmed head and 45s ran pretty well and had a msd 6al ignition also
i have somewhere the david vizard book on building sohc and dohc pinto motors here somewhere has some good stuff in it not all of it applicable now (mechanical injection ect) but generally a good book
was it sitting at all from when it came out of the grass kart try giving the carb a go over might not like being run with no air filter . or will it run better with the choke on ?
you dont need to carry that much water a guy i know runs it on his targa car and he said they average a litre a stage so a 4L tank in normal conditions would be ok for a day or more of normal driving
na not as yet its still stock as waiting on funds its just loud and matte black its a 81 cb250n so its the twin cylinder with the 6 speed gearbox and comstar alloys
good work i was watching that auction and was going to chuck a bid on. I love the cafe theme im currently collecting bits to do my old cb250 into a cafe racer. bit of advice go on ebay for cafe bits there like half the price shipped for what people want on trademe
found his email through some googleing $531 for the kit and another like 100 bux or something for side bars now i just have to find a os member who i can pay in cash or beer to fit it
