I dont get why a car like that would get stolen. There would be no market for stolen mk1 cortina parts and its not like theres an abundance of maroon parts on trademe to blend in with. If it was some rangi gunmetal grey r32 i could see why but a cortina wtf!!

Well just picked up a 120y wagon and have realised its got no seatbelts in the back so need to get some put in. Im not really fused about cert and that just as long as they will do the job if need be I would prefer over the shoulder style for the window seats but a lap belt is fine for the middle. thanks in advance

Whats the go with buying a deregoed car with no plates? When it come to running it through the rereg how do you prove ownership ect? would I have to write some sort of contract when buying the car?

Out of curiosity if you get a car certed and the cert plate says you have 14x6 mags then you change to 13x7 for example whats the deal do you need a recert or get a new cert plate or what?

How hard are these to put in is it as simple as removing the existing guage cluster and pluging the sport one in or what will i need to do to get every thing running right?

Well tonight I went to start my escort (1.3 standard) and wouldnt start all dash lights ect where working but wouldnt even turn over. It just makes a single clunking noise when i turn key. I dont really know much about cars but am assuming the starter motors died so before i go buy another one is there anything else i should check?? thanks
