Nice landy, I know what you mean about the cabin noise - I've got a ld28 running through the standard landrover 4 speed. Works mean for towing etc. but can't really go above 80-90 on open road. Any idea what ratio the standard diffs are?

i still own this, has longer shackles aswell now.some rust came back some didn't. Kinda thinking about selling it and getting a 40 or 70 series landcruiser. Dude put a lock on gate and idiots complained to council, they didn't even think that the land could be privately owned. Well after arsing about trying to find secondhand muds on trademe/sella/t&e for a couple of weeks decided to bite bullet and go brand new. Bridgestone dueler 693's, firestone target road did me a mean deal and i don't even know the guy, was stoked. Came out way cheaper than the supposed "budget" brands (like nexen) quotes from discount/ tyrebusters/ etc. 29"..........Rubbed badly on front bumper. So removed bumper, angle grinder chop job and new brackets and black spray paint..... picture of new bracket hopefully get out in it this weekend. Still looking for indicator lense?
