Strange, they must have made different levels of the "Pro" as its usually the super poor no side strips, 1300cc, no A/C model. Unless I'm mistaken. Got two in the driveway here, one's pretty low with massive extended top hats (Not mine) but mine's just a standard height daily. Haha yeah, surely. Only bit I've been able to find is bottom of passenger door and hood. Had the windows fixed when I had the seals out, and the steel all looked good when the motor/gearbox was out. But I will have to look at a repaint/clear coat soon as the paint has worn through almost everywhere.

Just for shows and stuff, park round the corner, adjust it stupid low etc. haha. What height do your lowered plates set it to? Tbh I've never adjusted the rear height myself, seams very fiddly. Should probably have a crack.

Alright. Well; Since I posted last I have had the gearbox out and pulled to pieces by Jamie to adjust the reverse so it would stay in. Which now is all perfect! And brought a rebuilt 1600 Single Port running a slightly hot cam, so now it moves a little better. The day after those went in I took it for a 7 hour drive, only hitch was an HT lead flew off. Paint looks awesome man! And that turbo motor, sickk. Must come see this thing when its done. I'd be a little worried about fucking your guards up also, mine still hit whilst turning with standard wheels in the front with a 2" narrowed beam, you'd hate to crack that fresh paint. I think I'm getting a 1600 Single Port with a 110 cam, balanced and blueprinted soon. Just for a little more pep up the hills haha.

Yeah it seams alright when its running, but the second I'm off the throttle it stops unless i wind that screw right in. Haha, ah well - will strap it to a bike soon and see if it matters should be under load most of the time.

Old guy gave me two weed whackers the other day, said one was almost new but a cunt to start. I can get the new one going, but it won't idle. So if I put it from "Start" to "Run" and then crank it whilst holidng the gas on it'll go, but once I let it off it'll just stall. If I move the screw for the gas to a point where its always on a bit it will idle haha but thats not quite right. My MK1 Golf on Twin Dellortos bogged down like crazy unless you eased into it. Was the accelerator pumps inside the carbs, so needed rebuild. But yeah, check the simple things first as trips said.
