  1. Did you manage to get the measuring tape out and draw some cut lines this weekend?
  2. 5 inch mandrel bend sounds like black magic to me haha Might be cheaper to have a couple of bits folded up to make a square box section then you can have whatever depth you want... Less noise transfer aroumd the bend maybe
  3. Everything would appear as it should be , however that doesnt mean its all good and is a ball bearing option so no rebuild-able /worth rebuilding, problem is where do you go if you want a little bit more flow for your 7agte................................................. If had to pick a a turbo around your budget id start with a td05 of some variant as they are easily upgradable to the later model ones later on. An journal bearing i reckon is a far better option in terms of repair should something go pair shaped, people dis-guard them in favor for newer units so shouldn't be to badly priced. Pulsar Gtir t28 maybe journal bearing i think Up to you otherwise might have to put it up condition unknown for $1 as i wouldnt commit to the condition based on what some unknown character else has said previously in this day and age.
  4. Boy I have a deal for you Gt28bb s14 turbo Brought it maybe 2 years ago, topmount needed the exhaust housing rotated but the fucker be seized on like a hooker sucking a tennis ball through a garden hose, so got the shits with it and lost the nuts and washers that hold the housing on. Should really dollar reserve it but if its now rooted dont wanna deal with that shit........ Yours for the sum of a awesome deal on those konig's or some Steinikens I guess
  5. Shane Freebies ?........, You should know by now all rx parts are made of silver and command their weight in gold Your sincerely Scrooge McDuck
  6. The liquored mexican awakes Diff came out of the best , wish id splashed out when the car was up for 30k .........Shame there wasn't more pics of it around. Pretty sure it still run a supra box?? anyone know? As wicked as they look , when your going fast it a straight line why throw some more bits in the mix to fail. However if your racing a 3 ton mustang you need some help in the corners........... MSF camber setup
  7. Youll soon know when your doing 100mph past the 5-0 ,if you havent been tipped off by the noise from all the 40 year old bits around you Get the bog off and get it in the big shed,im sure the 4age junkie can hook you up with some steel for a bit of a frame accross under the car to get it up about 600mm of the ground, tack the sills to the frame. Then you have reasonable access under the thing and can tack the mounts/exhaust/floor notch etc all in place and save yourself hours lying on your floor Wish id done this with my car, as I spend another 1k getting the last of the paint off that I missed. Got some wicked ideas should be awesome

  14. Ive seen somewhere sgirtening one side of a hilux diff makes the head offset like the rx2 ones and allows some more clearance for the handbrake mechanism. Not really interested in notching pans or anythung ill just run it a bit higher so definatley going hilux for the smaller size.... Really need to get the rear out for some measurements I guess, what you doing with yours?
  15. Love this car, need to bounce some stuff of ya about the diff? Did you shorten both sides or just one? Offset driveshafy etc to clear the floor underneath
  16. Common with rotories to have the axles bind when you put them back in a rx2/rx3 with an lsd unit etc Have to either shim them or shorten so they dont touch inside the unit. Edit: Beaten
  17. Any recommend a good meduim quality flaring tool? Around $200ish? Handy to have
  18. There is a house up the top of Waiewe st thats Karaka Green Coloursteel roof and walls (vertical i think) with Raw alloy window frames with tinted windows and heaps of wooden decking around the back side. Sounds terrible but looks pretty bloody good amongst the bush.

  23. Awesome dude Welcome to the 510 club if not already. Had to do both the rear doors like that on mine as well bit of a mission but allowed me to take the door recesses out to allow for some more room under there. Once the panelbeater decides which one hes going to use , i may have a guard for you
