  1. So the wiring at the plug on the ute is giving the problem with nothing connected? I guess next is the pull the lights and check them to be fine / the wiring loom to the lights also.
  2. Inside the plug? Short could be inside, unless it's not a DIY plug.
  3. I have to say the quality of the cars that showed up was top fucking notch. Toyota representing. Sweet bikes too, can you sit down after the cruise Zeb?
  4. And if it doesn't, you're not hitting it hard enough / not using a big enough hammer. internet says this:
  5. I might pop and say hi at (A), but won't have time for cruise sadly.
  6. I'd live there. Less people around to step on my lawn etc.
  7. Out west is fine as far as living goes. Largely unaffected by the quakes so that's not much of a big deal. Rental will be a stretch, but if you're just going to join an existing flat, it won't be as bad. I'm sure you'll meet a lot of the locals if you go to a meet (a lot of which live in seem to live out west). Still yet to do that myself, but one day it will happen/i'll have something OS to use.
  8. Get better/longer/more suitable springs. Even if it was for a race car that didn't have to meet WOF standards, spacers are still sounding like a pretty silly solution. /my 10c
  9. Best you sort that then Doing the work yourself will save you a LOT more than the cost of tools over time. Make sure you did actually get a new brake tube installed.
  10. what is a ballpark price on one of those? Can you source seals too? $$? chur
  11. You'll be beached as on our chch roads lol, most drains seem to stick up higher than that now grrr
  12. Oh for sure, shes a hard thing to master. I'm still far far from it. Even changing angles will piss with the weld out come. Just too much to take it / pile it on haha. Yeah the previous work you've had to fix, was 'interesting'. You have to wonder what some people are thinking.
  13. Good progress there! How is the penetration on the welds? Some just look a bit cold/sitting on the top. I'm not even a good welder lol, but yeah, look similar to some i've done that didn't really penetrate enough as needed more heat/less wire. Individual results will vary of course. I really need some of your motivation to rub off on me and make me fix my rust! Anyway, not critising, just wondering.
  14. 10/10, looks wicked! You can't beat a big deck for entertaining! Used to use mine for that, but these days i'm more "get off my deck" spec. What's next on the to do list after deck?
  15. Could be a dumb question as I don't deal with engines really... but can you weld it all up from the other side of the crack?
  16. I avoid facebook when possible though / won't even be friends etc Not a biggie
  17. So how about a deck photo, or are they coming later?
  18. What exactly is broken in your current diff? I'd work that out first, and find out how much it will cost to fix / replace the parts. If you plan on giving the car a hard time though perhaps an upgraded diff would be the go.
  19. I thought they got rid of the 3M range and now just roll Septone stuff. If you don't want stuff from a dedicated paint shop, i'm sure Septone will do the job. I don't think it will make a difference to the end result in this case.
  20. Shit that's not bad, not many 14 year olds own a KE30 and a KP starlet...
  21. You want people to help you, but you are not willing to read the advice they give. Do you really want help or not? If you do, go find your other thread and read what people said. Spencer gave you an explanation on what to do. If you can't follow what he said, then painting is not for you i'm afraid.
  22. Is it not easy to remove it from the circuit to see if that stops the draining? Then test it on the bench?
