thanks. in that case i'll keep the tubes for a special occasion and give tubeless a hoon. Are bike valves pretty standard shit? (can i cut them out of old tubes and glue them in or do i have to buy special ones? Did anyone else here watch MAFS last night? wow.
-
i did consider that... then bought tubes anyway. pros and cons?

Cant rotate this one in the mount..and way too hard coz its already bolted down there (just bent bracket and bolted to fork stud thing. Have a chat to @Raizer about it. Its sturdy with a metal body- far nicer than the chrome plastic i was expecting. I have to wait for tubes now.. dammit! Should have ordered them earlier.

Yeah i have watched a vew vids on DIY ovens- prepreg just seems so quick, easy and clean. I'd love to use it on my intake plenum. Does anyone here use a vacuum pump? I hear fridge pumps work extremely well. Edit. Waiting for all the sick bastards to say they use theirs every night. -

If these cheap tires are bad during normal driving imagine how bad they be in an emergency situation. Fuck that -

This is oldschool.. tell someone not to troll someone else and THE FLOOD GATES OPEN. Whats his ph number? Reminds me of my first ever job- night shift at a pak'n save. There was a young barry there (probably 30's) who was the shift manager and had just discovered video games. I could literally go the whole night without working by trolling him with questions about movies and games. WOW COOL WHAT HAPPENS NEXT -

Nothing that special compared to these guys! Composites are easy (at our level anyway). You just need google, $$ for materials and motivation. -

I'm sure i have said this before here... but. When i was at intermediate a classmates dad bought him an imp as his race car.. It was pretty much the coolest thing i had ever seen- they had stripped it down and painted it white with red and blue stripes (from memory..was a long time ago) and he was telling me that people often put porsche motors into them. Keep in mind we were both around 11 years old! I vividly remember him showing me what i think was a portion of handbrake system and it was a leather strap or belt (may have been a repair that someone had done once) ever since then i'd just thought they were the coolest things ever and owning one someday is definitely on my bucket list. Looks like you purchased a really good set of stuff!!!!!! -
My work does this but in morrinsville

Hey man. I need to bring my seat in for foam and covering. Heres a vid. I covered the seat with epoxy and then pushed scrunched up tinfoil into the surface.. whenthe resin had cured i sanded back the high spots and xovered with more resin.. then sanded and repeated. Its pretty much like glass to touch- a few ripples but nothing that makes me want to do any more sanding. You can see a few spots where larger areas were taken away by sanding. Not what i intended but its all character and i do not care. The finished result is quite awesome and would have been really badass had my base color been either black or red. I have also done much sanding on the frame and wheels to get rust out... Primed with zinc and will paint properly later. I made my own handle bars out of straight tube (machined the cwnter to fit my clamps, pressed in a tube to reinforce where its been machined and knurled the ends where the grips go) No waiting on headlight, front fairing, exhaust, foot pedals and fuel line to arrive.
