Well well well. Not long after getting a wof as per previous post, I was an idiot and did a few too many grass skids on and something let go in the engine. Unfortunately this knock knock who's there wasn't a joke this time. So I did nothing for a few months pretending it would fix itself, which it didn't. Then eventually tracked down another rd28t engine pulled (a runner pulled to make way for an rb30det) so snapped that up. Since then have been slowly pulling the car apart ready to pull the engine out and drop the other one in.

Oh, hey team. I'm going to be in Wellington for a few days later this month and would be splendid to catch up with whomevers about. So evening of wednesday 16th June if anyone's free I'm keen to say hello/have a drink/have a feed. I'm CBD bound unless someone wants to offer a lift.

This thing still forges on. Finally got around to pesting @Geophy to help me build a new exhaust. We cut and shut/shortened the factory muffler, and then built up a stainless header pipe. Real happy with how it turned out, I like the high pipe as it leaves clearance for off road adventures. Survived another 42nd traverse mission along with some fully hectic side tracks. Just this weekend partook in the DGR ride over in Tauranga, was a heap of fun and pretty happy with how the bike looks now.

Shit yeh good stuff. Advice for the bed, get something hard to lay on top of it under the mattress, like 2 sheets of MDF or something so your little white boi hips don't get reamed by the planks through the mattress.

That's only because no-one from OS turns up anyway. Doesn't seem to be a huge desire from OS people regardless of the format, and that's fine. We don't have enough people to run our own, so rely on others (this was the same when they were at burger fuel, OS was the minority of people).The number of people who actually use OS as a means of communication/regularly check on what's happening is so small that organizing an event on here doesn't reach more than 5 people so its of minimal value. If someone wants to step up and organize things then please do. Tank @ CJC has been pushing pretty hard and keeping the flame alive and is more than happy to work with us, but even he has noted that hardly anyone turns up from OS, so again, it kind of fizzles out. Coming into winter as well, its hard to get people excited. I unofficially took over when Marku went south but that wasn't a conscious effort. To be brutally honest I have minimal desire to get involved in organizing things (so sue me) but will turn up when I can. If someone wants to take charge and push hard then please do. Nothing wrong with people having other priorities in life. Peace out.
