I like how the TRD version is really just fixing mistakes. Hindsight version.

Oh man you are spending up a storm! Death by scoot! -
My MA45 was original M-EU, there's no information pertaining to these in the toyota EPC as it doesn't appear in toyodiy or anywhere else. Even with the correct serial number, every MA45 I've seen come across trademe has had the M-EU also.

Sold mine early mid last year. They come up in various states on trademe. Perhaps a km48 would have a bit more oomph -

I had a km37, fetched just over $500 on trademe -
Bugger all! I think I bought it about $1200. Sold for the same. I was 19 I think so cutties, cut king springs haha. On bumps no fucks given. It had been privately imported for a guys mum who wanted a red celica (thinking of ra28/ta22) and he turned up with that. Poor woman mustve been disappointed. It was stolen and recovered in the early 90s so body stamp was missing but silver plate was still there. Ugly duckling but I can appreciate as long as it doesn't have maroon interior.

Yeah I had one a few years ago now, also had an Left hand drive RA40 Coupe which I parted out (rusty swedish import).

If you look up the Toyota part number and do a reverse search the part number only suits M-EU engines: 11115-41040 Time for a 5 or 6MGE The 2M one is 11115-41012 That's a direct supersession so likely will be ok if you found one. I don't know if that's going to make it any easier. I've found pics of the gasket and they have oddly shaped combustion chamber holes vs. the 4M gasket.
