  1. +1 For Baby Moons -1 For Trailer Wheels Just think Baby moons on Wide colour coded steelies would've looked more period correct than modgies (when do modgies look correct on anything?) Still 'tis your Van, so what the hell At least you've got a nice simple but surely impressive paint job lined up..
  2. Good stuff, love the magnums I'd definitly go for the 4x100, If you can try and find some newer series bmw Steels I think they are, are easily 1/3 of the weight of a normal "steel" wheel..
  3. Put a Hub Cap over it ow! , What redrill???
  4. Looks 200% Better with the original front back on man, also will be better with the sleeper look, with the intercooler hidden away rather than "all I got for christmas was my two front teeth" look
  5. Why's it on a Tow truck boe? Oh if you need parts I know where theres a low-light and highlight wrecking - should be pretty cheap too
  6. Not sure why I havent commented before, But Really do like this, Looks great in the silver & some nice wide rims.. You could go Leyland p76 if you ever got bored of the 3.5 Another 1.1 Litre lol
  7. Wicked man, looks good with wider wheels, Must be rather fun to drive with so little weight and a reasonably powerful motor? @ Fuel, I think there was one for sale in the Duncan Rutherford Collection awhile ago..
  8. Score on the Rims & Grill.. Must've been going at the arm awhile with the gasplant to bend that wouldnt you?
  9. Zomg! It has a Torque Tube, Now you can be lezbe-friends with us Chevette/Gemini/Piazza People
  10. Thought about using really fine grade meshing? (although this idea may fail due to shit getting stuck infront of it - hay, straw, rubbish etc etc - Bathurst Stz..)
  11. Christ, How many Subaru's do you have? Can make out 5 in one picture, and then I saw the ones listed in your sig.... I reckon leave standard colour, newer motor (read: more powerful), Lowered on Pursuit style steel wheels with a thin white walls or Redlines..
  12. ^ Put 98 in it and you'll double your power, they pink real bad with 91 though..
  13. If its of any use I know of a S110 Z18ET Silvia rusting away - Tis auto though, would they come with Factory LSD's for the turbo models or nah?
  14. Come on, they're not that bad, we've had a Chevette Sedan up to 130 (was a long road I'll give you that) Quite happily sit at 100 clicks
  15. Nice man... What stud pattern they running?
  16. Surprized, maybe you are or arent doing this yet.. Hollow bolts? Bracket looks better (fucking rofl, a page of people commenting about his new coil bracket)
  17. Agree with Ky, also pursuit steels would be better than standards.. Quite liking idea and approach so far , lets hope it doesnt turn out Matty B with Eagers
  18. ^ Bet me to it, yea good quality work. I think *think* elite wheels do it as well, but circle track would be the go
  19. Removed a few too many Screens (all derby cars), Best Tools needed: Supercheap "Windscreen Removal Tool" = $25 I think Kitchen knife (make sure its sharp) Choke/Throttle/Boot/Bonnet Release Cable. Hot water + dishwashing detergent With the cable you need to make a slit in the rubber and poke the wire through, and then tie each end around a pole to hold onto (two person job). Use a sawing motion, make one person do the cutting with the other person just pulling back/tensioning (when sawing aim majorly in the direction you want to go, dont just go the same angle doing nothing) Hot knife with detergent works wonders. Supercheap tool is for the real cunty ones..
  20. This like driving cars, or towing/trailering? Possibly help after 2pm Thursday? (got rigged into working an extra day) Edit and how come you have 25+ cars?
  21. Ah FFS, last post didnt go through.. Good decision on the colour, Shall look far better in something a little more 'factory' like, rather than the trend by most people repainting their cars a hideously bright hue of some sort.. 1st 3sge cam cover may be the go, I assume the Oil cap/neck is your problem? The 1st Gen sits way lower. Can take pics for you if you want to sorta compare where mounting points are etc... Cheers,Chris
  22. Too cold/never fully committed myself in the firstplace (twas hailing) , fireplace was much warmer..
  23. You end up getting it from Canterbury Benz , or the dude who bought it from Canterbury Benz? Shall be sweet once done, will keep an eye out for parts for you
  24. Good stuff man! Need more pics, but looks like a pretty tidy one, is it a Datsun or Nissan or does it have "both" nissan/datsun badges on it... Brother has these widened Steelies, came off a S110 Silvia, think they're 6.5" as opposed to 5" (originally) 4 + 1x standard.. Cant remeber how much he was after for them We were given a rusty as fuck one for free about 7 years ago, went in a derby, went alright
  25. ^ You are shitting me man ? My Birthday is on Saturday, lol whats the chances GM/T peps and Birthday a day apart
