That exhaust mount makes me sad. -
GMB pumps have never given me any issues, there's one on my 1kz and I've fitted them to plenty of other cars.
-
One day you'll pull something out of the back of the fridge or somewhere and find enough jets to tune 50 scooters! Looking good though man!

You already know my thoughts on that carb Blizzo, spend a little time getting it set up and you'll love the results! None of the China carbs come close to the real deal. -
If it's a genuine Koso it's actually a good Thai copy of a Keihin PWK rather than a Mikini. Otherwise it's a Chinese copy of a Thai copy of a Keihin PWK lol.

Is 180amp too low for you? https://www.boc.co.nz/shop/en/nz/boc-smootharc-multiprocess-180-welder-boc180multi-p I'm going to be grabbing myself one next time they have a promo on it (last time they came with a free auto helmet, trolley, wire and other parts.)

Not sure what size this one is, haven't done much with it besides drag it home. I'm in Gisborne, but travel a lot so could probably bring it along sometime.
-
Dragged this thing home among a few trailer loads of scooters a while back, any use to you for parts or something?

New shock should help a bit at least. -

@peteretep I should have the 21mm PWK back in stock before East Cape, so worst case we could swap it out before the ride or at mine on the Friday. Also very keen to have a look at your intake, I'm getting an itch to resurrect my Let's and a bigger carb wouldn't hurt! -

CT-V90 swap @GuyWithAviators, you know you want to! -
I see the confused reaction @AllTorque, guessing it's at the thread cut off? When doing a wide throttle test over only a short distance the plug won't fully colour up, the smoke ring tells the story better than the tip of the insulator but it's nearly impossible to see properly without cutting the threads off.

Polini CP 19mm clamp on.

The little Jog is a first kick runner, goes so well I'm having a hard time bringing myself to strip it for parts! Got one of the 12" wheeled 2 strokes going today, is a Daelim rather than a Chinese thing. It just needed a CDI, petrol and the fuel filter was blocked, actually goes rather hard for what it is, beach race build for the new 50cc scooter class the local club has started is the plan l. There's 4 GY6 50cc things there, couple are meant to be runners but I've got no interest at all in them so if anyone needs parts I'm happy to sell shit from them.
-
Barry clear up to keep HNZ happy. So I've now got several GY6 50cc engines, couple Minareli, a PGO etc to part out and sell. Tempted to make a beach racer hack from one of the 12" wheeled 2ts.

Before: After: + The Red Jog runs really well, the Lead 100 was running when the police spiked it to end a chase lol Lucky I didn't get seen by the cops on the way home ha /Wtf am I doing

Yeah, but weakening the shoe in the wrong spot and having it explode at 6000rpm really sucks, can imagine it'd suck worse after shipping the scooter half way up the country too. -

Your girls like the whistles @RUNAMUCK? Trim around that base gasket with a blade, those packages are too well sealed and I managed to destroy my base gasket pulling the plastic off the front of the card. -
Shouldn't be an issue going to a tooth or 2 bigger, might crack 120k lol

Almost a pity it wasn't the Saturday lol -
Can't wait to see the 155z wheelie through Whakaz! /Want a couple front sprockets for the factory powered one? Have learnt the hard way they are a different spline to older shit/lifans so have a couple nice Kitaco sprockets available lol

Haven't had anywhere near as much scooter time as I'd like lately. Managed to get a few hours to muck around with Barbie tonight though. Squirt of engine start and 2 kicks was all it took to get the purple parts one started up, sounded healthy enough without the exhaust so I pulled it from the frame. Removed the old engine with collapsed bearings from Barbie Fitted the old Gyro brake shoes etc to the new one and bolted it in. Managed to get it running fairly well, the gas and oil in the tanks are likely from 1998 and the resulting smoke clouds smell like death haha, first burnout was achieved first start ha. Next steps are: unlock front wheel, maybe get brakes working, fit headlights etc from parts pile, buy a plate, remove springs and fit neons. Then decide on the best way to start her on a meth habit.
