xsspeed's Corollas: EE80->Beams3s & NZGT Liftback
Honda Ass Dragger replied to xsspeed's topic in Other Projects
Theres a guy on Toyspeed selling some HKS extractors for a ST202, they were going really cheap as he just wanted rid of them, might be an idea to track them down http://forums.toyspeed.org.nz/viewtopic ... 20&start=0 -

New Filter HKS for extra W%^K Factor
-
Cheers for all the advise Just sorted a HKS Panel replacement filter for $35 Will do the job for the time being
-
Wicked good to know, I don't want to go the Pod because if I get pulled over here, the cops can ask you to open the bonnet and if they see a Pod filter you will get an instant defect (Austrailias version of a Pink Sticker) So was going to go the K&N and Spoon filter in stock box option, go to hear that they make a differnce, I will order the new filter this weekend

Sweet, I've noticed that even with firmer than standard suspension setups they still like to start 1 wheel wondering the inside wheel when exiting a corner during spirited driving. Well Im booked in for a Track day at Wakefield Park ont he 4th of September so we will find out how it goes then Before the 4th I intend to: Oil and Filter Chnage Change Air Filter Give it decent alignment and fit some betetr brake pads and higher temp fluid Might also grab a Go-Pro HD if fund allow

LSD and a decent suspension kit will have this thing handling like a gokart/dreamkayak. No abuse here*, post on toyspade if you want abuse *cept for the comment above this post I will be keeping a look out for a S80 (Type R) gearbox with the factory LSD if one pops up, but in no rush It already has full Buddy Club N1+ suspension so handles damn well already Sweet pay out, so sweet, like wow, really wow, must have taken you so long to think of that I am impressed

MrMcDoll's Diesel-Punk TA23 Celica
Honda Ass Dragger replied to MrMcdoll's topic in Project Discussion
i've asked the same question back when slonlo owned it, so similar. and that would be Marcus's old RA28????? his brother owns it now, its down here in Tauranga, or it was a couple of years back. he had a 23 as well, maybe even the same one??? had the firewall hacked for a 3s conversion. i've had a 23 and a 28 in the past, wish i had have stuck with them but both were bigger projects than i had money and time for back then. i like what you're doing with it, i reckon fuck raising it up though. 1st gen celicas NEED to be low!!!!!! but imagine matt black and dented up, fuck yes!!!!!! cheers Matt I thouht I recognised the White Celica, its Timons, he got it from this Borther, who had put the 3SGE in it He has had the Red23 for god knows how many years, he owned it when i was still at school in Nelson 2000 Was running with 3sgte for a while a long time ago now -
Not unless thats one very magical Civic I'm a fan too. If it were mine I would sell those wheels for heaps and put some better looking ones on it, but other than that it looks pretty sweet for a reliable, enjoyable daily. Don't spend any money on it! If my car does have those magical power I would be stoked 100% on the money with the don't spend money on it comment, thats was the goal of buying somthing modern Plans for this include an Oila nd Filter change and maybe a K&N in the stnadrd filter box, as Austrilian modifcation laws don't allow for much

Ah ok thats good to know, Richy Snoozing has told me to get some Hytech headers No plans to lose the exhuast, will get a butt plug for it for daily driving as its a bit loud But its actually a full Buddy Club system so don't really want to hack it up

Mate I would love another RWD Toyota But living in Central Sydney just does not allow Rego over here is near on 1k a Year Already booked in to have the bonnet re-sprayed factory Red Nah no LSD for this one, it is on the list of future plans I also intend to give it a little bit more drop as well, but nothing major I must say I was expecting alot more abuse than has been recived

Really liking how this is coming together, the only thing that IMO is Horrible is the "Demon Rotor Sports" window banner Remove that and you car will be Mack 10
-
Yeah I love to but the fact that I'm livng in sydney also doesn't help Don't think Mum and Dad would be to happy to have it stored till I could afford to ship it over The thought of this thing, which decent clutch and tune and 20+psi makes extermly hard though

Esprit's '01 Exige Over-winter refresh
Honda Ass Dragger replied to Esprit's topic in Other Projects
Yeah, fair call... and it's your comments that planted the seeds in my mind. Still, it's no big loss. I can sell the emerald for most of what it cost me, will get a Link as soon as funds permit (which will be a few weeks). I've a couple of questions I've posed to Link Tech support to see if the Xtreme will work with my existing hardware... if that all comes back positive it's full steam ahead. Emerald is jsut a rebadged re-boxed link g3 anyway isn't it?
