Ruined a nice period piece of furniture these last few weeks Ebonised the drawers with a solution of strong black tea, and steelwool dissolved in vinegar Then sanded, and bleached the original stain out with lye and then hydrogen peroxide. Really wanted to avoid the orange/golden tone of the oak showing through. So whitewashed it all with some bone white to match our window frames

Would a big old battery charger put that out. My one on wheels puts out a shit load of amps (cauge starts at about 20 and goes to 60) at about 14v
