  1. It will still be a GN though, is what I'm getting at
  2. $80 for enough torque to get me up the Bombay's seemed alright
  3. Cold rolled sheets from Steel south Auckland in wiri and all the section stuff I get cheap China stuff from Magellan imports
  4. GN goes alright Coming back from the east coast was blowy as shit and on the straights I would drop from 90 to 60 on the gusts. Pretty dumb Ideal for around the city and adventure roads, it's the in-between that the GN does not excel at. Don't mind a limited top speed, but chopping down gears sucks. Now I have a 30min WOT 9000rpm commute too.
  5. Separate work light switch for light bar?

Paint will handle the high temps alright, it's just the brake dust that ends up burnungt/melting into it and looking crap. Don't think there is anything practical that holds up long term

I think I have some left over of the pearl actually. You can try it on a test piece maybe. If you it does have that mica sparkle, and looked ok on the table I painted for our wedding. But looked average on the bike. Go figure

    PAINT THREAD

I had some made for a bike White base Then a clear with white pearl mixed in. In spray cans It was a bit of a fail tbh. I'd do it again with a paint gun and some cheap pearl. It came out pretty much like a metallic, and more expensive
  13. Easy to snap off in a blind hole in an engine (Snap it, it's how you remove tungsten rings) Carbide cutting disc will do it fine
  14. There's 1jz hiluxs of your era around. I think they are a long fit but do go in There probably was Buick V6 kits in the 90s. The one in my mitsi is pretty crude so you could get some thing water cut easy
  15. Buick V6 1JZ no shit 1KZ 5, 6, 7mge should bolt to Hilux gearbag? But m-series Sad times when a rover V8 is sounding the best option
