  1. Ha Ha https://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/suplementary_information/LVVTA_LVV_Cert_Threshold.pdf LVV Certification is always required for any brake-related modifications unless specified below... (no mention of line locks) But hey, you might be ok.
  2. Who all is going? We'll be there, staying somewhere behind the store down near Williamson Park. Pretty sure @JasonK will be attending as usual. @73crownwagon, @64vauxhall?
  3. Yes, but must be electrically operated with a warning light and disabled when on public roads. (8.13.1 in manual)
  4. Cleaning up the interior. It's easier to remove the rear seat.
  5. If anyone is keen to pull parts for me I need a drivers door lock (preferable one with a key that works) and a passenger door one too for a BMC Farina. Trying to make the wagon lock-able as it's such a fine vehicle someone else may want it. They come out pretty easy, just remove from the handle remote clip after taking off the door trim, then undo the three big phillips screws on the door edge. Look like this:
  6. I imagine Rod Clifton would move it as-is. They shift broken-down and non-running things all the time. There is a workshop there who fix most anything. https://www.rodcliftonmotors.co.nz/
  7. Literally flew the British flag (with @Big Value Buddy) at Wagnats. The new foam mattress worked well, as did the new curtain set up. Applied Wagoneer plaque (thanks to @KKtrips) And the prize sticker from @HighLUX After a drive in the rain today it seems I need to work on the windscreen sealing some more. Wipers need attention too.
  8. Old and new The Rancho units were a bit longer so I had to dick around with the upper mounts a bit. Got them installed over a lazy weekend. I've done some test driving, adjusted between 5 and 9 (min is 1 and max is 9). Definitely feels better tied down, currently set on 7 which may be a bit too stiff. Made it down an almost 4wd spec track to a quiet section of Te Horo beach during the week.
  9. I totally would have beaten that @Mourning Cupcakeaustin in a drag race if some slow-ass buick hadn't been blocking the lane in front of me!
  10. I'll be there in a quality BMC product. Assuming it starts in the morning.
  11. Have made some roses out of copper a few years ago, not too hard. http://www.instructables.com/id/Copper-Rose/
  12. I guess they apply the entry certification process? https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/entry-certification e.g. for brakes etc Compliance with approved standards 4. Condition, performance and modification 6. Brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir, or at remote locations, shows signs of dirt or contamination. 7. 13. I don't think that is possible, there is a link limit in sigs nowadays.
