hey bro i failed at going into horipito to see if they had those front lenses drove past on thursday and was unkeen to stop cos i'd slept in and wanted to do as much work as poss on mini on thursday, at that stage planned to leave again today at lunch time, allowing sweet time to roll into horipito on way home. failed at that when we hit problems on mini yesterday and had quite a bit to do today, ended up being like 7 or 8 by the time i went past. sorry mang seems like i will be headed back down again before toooooooo long anyway,

you will probably have to get a new hub ma, likelyhood is the holes the studs go into are buggered now, you may be able to get an oversize one with the same thread on it but a hub swap would probably be easier anyway

should email isuzu and tell them they're loosers for making a sweet car with shit plastic bits where there should be a sweet chrome metal bit or, maybe leave it until you have other bits in such as reyums (they're black partly yes?) and it might actually blend in a bit better

been meaning to do that forgotted world highway for ages, noticed it ages ago and was intrigued just cos of name, looked at map then and looks sweeet. have done the other road that goes from te kuiti out to the coast and then down to taranaki area also, that was lush as aswell with a couple of tunnels and sweet windy valley roads etc, has a mean view and park up spots when you get to coast too, you could suss out a sweet weekend trip, going from welly or auckland, go on one road to new plymouth, crash there over night and leave on other road the next day that's what i'd planned to do anyway

theres bound to be some sweet shit along that eastern coast mang, according to lush free avis road map there looks to be a fairly tuff road that goes from featherston along western side of lake wairarapaand loops round southern end and back round, then you could burn down to that southern most point of NI, called cape palliser apparently, would be sweet burns /how close to welly where you thinking? also, must be some choice shit up in those ranges, just take like any turn off towards ranges when your going thru otaki leven etc/cant remember if there are any, the jail in rimutakas? other shit round rimutakas?

you may have to make new, or get new made, you'll PROBABLY find that the axles are a bigger diameter where the splines are than where you'd end up needing the splines to be unless you found different outer CV's with a smaller spline diameter, they'd be weaker though. also the hardness of standerd axles MAY be an issue depending on how whatever company made them but really i have no idea, they may be fairly normal as it would be cheaper etc i'd look into getting some made as you can use better material and do better strengthening if thats something you deem necessary, can also get any spline count/CV on the outer side that you want, if you wanted to run a particular hub or brake setup

walnut shells are from what im told (one of?) the most expensive blasting media available. some things that need blasting can really only be done with walnuts but of what understand, thats really only very soft/thin metals or things where tolerances are concerned. A car, is more than enough resistant to stand up to the cheaper option of sand IMO. walnuts would be OTT i think, unless, you had a newb sprayer or are too lazy to strip back the central square of the large panels: boot, roof, doors, bonnet etc
