  1. rod out side of block into leg/nuts? ooohhhhhhh yeeeeaaaaaahhhhh
  2. Number saved.I was sore, but not that bad Super keen to go back again and do another half hour 'enduro'. We could maybe make it at about 6pm if people will be able to get there that early, then those who aren't interested or can't afford to do karting can just show up near the end, or meet us at the pub/park. Just avoids a boring half hour of spectating for those that can't participate. Just an idea anyway. Keens for early in Dec.
  3. Yeah was awesome. Just got back from the pub now. Keen for more 'gym sessions' again soon.
  4. Is it an SC12? What about just seeing what it does on a 4A-GZE? The above suggests there is no direction change on the belts, and it runs straight from the crank pulley. Meaning engine goes clockwise, SC goes clockwise (when looking at the front of the pulley).
  5. I'm definite. Looking forward to it. Happy to not book. Last time we booked for a specific time we arrived right at that time to find our place had been given away anyway, so theres not a lot of point really, especially if theres only going to be 5 or so of us (they'll just give it to someone who turns up with 10).
  6. Should have just committed way too hard and then tried to dig your way out of it. Nothing like starting at the bottom and working your way up/not at all.
  7. My understanding is that it is just a lazer printed decal onto normal vinyl. This is a little bit specialist, as in a few years back very few sign writers would have had the gear to do it, but it is slowly getting more common. Chances are the ones you asked won't have had this equipment yet. Keep asking different suppliers? The stickers we get made up for nats etc use this - they aren't multi vinyls - so people can definitelty do it.
  8. Sweet. Will flick you a text if we are equally lazy and don't end up heading north til late arvo
  9. What time are you guys heading down there? Heading north around lunch, but might come across for a squiz if you are there early-ish.
  10. Your granny fucken rules/ruled. As does your painting. Looks shiny.
  11. Yus, I win. That's heavier than my big heavy Vectra (940kg), though I don't really trust those scales either. Who knows. Chunks of metal can be deceptively heavy.
  12. Possibly blocked radiator or stuffed water pump. Not fan if it's ok idling. He higher revs and more flow are when it isn't cooling, which is usually related to blocked cooling system or a water pump with a fin/s missing. Awesome by the way. I didn't know things existed! What engine is it? Does it go alright?
  13. Full throttle used to be awesome. Proper karts and the best track. But we went there in February and half the karts were broken. Spence and Phil both broke down but my kart was sweet. Daytona is probably the safer bet for big crowds. What if we alternate 1 each month?
  14. Could you just space the sway bar down a bit to allow enough clearance to the sump? Maybe unbolt the sway bar, drop the engine down and see how ugly spacer mounts would look. This is done lots on conversions. Even a custom sway bar would only be about $300, or finally you could just find a sway bar from another vehicle that drops down in the middle to allow clearance to the sump and use that.
  15. You need to make your way to an oldschool nats, then all will become clear
  16. These DTA Fast ecu's are simple and good - a lot of guys use them in the UK. I know about them because they are supplied in plug and play throttle body kits for the Opel C20XE. The base model should be able to do what you need to if running semi-sequential and wasted spark on the 6 cylinder and seems to be a reasonable price. You could try buy them ex-UK too, if you want to try beat VAT/GST. http://www.msel.co.nz/epages/motorsportelectronics.sf/en_NZ/?ObjectPath=/Shops/motorsportelectronics/Categories/Engine_Mangement
  17. cruise 260 for summer then sell to fund kp completion + touring car build?
  18. Most people just crack the throttle/s slightly to idle up a little, but in this build where efficiency and reliability is key you probably want to retain that, or a similar version of it. You can get a stand alone ICV/stepper motor that just has a pipe in and out rather than the type that sit on the intake manifold/plenum/throttle body. These are much easier to mount on an after market intake. You can control them from a PWM out put on the ecu. Again, just stay with you factory ecu
  19. From memory Pinkies was a bit of a shady place? Though I think I only went there at night edit: damn, beaten...
  20. Yeah, hang the motor out behind the rear axle 911 style and sit in the trolley. Your weight would probably balance it out enough in front/behind he axle. Then sit hand brake up high on the left rally/drift car style.
