  1. i have a whole week left, we'll see how it goes theres still a tiny bit of hope
  2. I'm likely out. Leave approved, but this is the current state of my sleeping thing so i'll see how i go, and might join you lot later
  3. If shit turns to crap, i can probably house a person or 2 on a couch/floor for a night or 2. You WILL get roped into helping me finish the teardrop trailer if it's not done though
  4. find out what it is, try find another one and just put it in, or find on the internet when a common upgrade is, and what is required to put said gearbox in and go from there
  5. Same here. Its not factory, but copied from a factory one with factory mirrors. Should have some pics in my build thread. Can take more if needed
  6. What i'm saying is, a new trailer gets a 3 year WOF, but that appears to be a 1 time thing. I just got a trailer WOF for a trailer thats 1 year, 10 months old, so got a WOF for 1 year 2 months to take it to the end of the 3 year period. So after that, take the plate off and register it as a new trailer, which costs f-all, and get another 3 year WOF as it's a 'new' trailer and then you dont need to get yearly WOFs after that and save the cost of a couple wof inspections and not having to worry about not passing the wof for a few years. Anyway, i found a ceiling fan that might interest you? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=841355577
  7. you shall. I just got the remainder of my first 3 years (14 months) wof for the slam trailer. Kinda weird how that works though. It's not a 3 year wof, it's a wof up to 3 years after first registering... weird. Proably cheaper to get new plates every 3 years to keep getting 3 year WOFs and have a stack of plates lying around for no reason.
  8. Scullery? close to mercury and voted best cafe on k road in metro magazine or some shit. Quite a good place. They dont do reservations, but i can make that happen if need be, but they will probably be pretty quiet after lunch
  9. Still kinda confused how you got rego without a WOF. I thought you need a WOF to get rego?
  10. Need to do some woodworking stuff for the teardrop and could really do with finding someone with some experience and a table saw. Mainly just need to rip up some sheets of ply, and turn some 8x2s into a few 1.5"x1.5" beams. Couple will need to be cut on silly angles, so would be ace to be able to use someone's table saw and have said person there to tell me what I'm doing wrong haha Ned 021 413 423
  11. Wish I made it. Got $400 fine and told to go home before I even got there
  12. 12? i'm hoping to do mine in 6, and i havent even started yet
  13. speed holes (except for the door) They will get filled with foam/insulation and skinned in ply or something on both sides. Looking good! def not nedding around are you
  14. We already have a banner. Can we fundraise for an OS branded gazebo?
  15. Plus don't have it powered on when the car isn't running. You want the sensor to be cold when you start the car so if any condensation hits it when you start the car from cold, it doesn't crack the sensor
  16. Depending on ECU etc, the digital ones cant all do cool shit. Some will be able to count pulses for measuring speedos etc, some can measure pulse widths, so how long something is high for, and others can only be simple switches for say a nitrous trigger etc. Same with using them as outputs. Most will have timers on them, but some will be super slow and won't work with great accuracy as they will be software timers instead of hardware ones.
  17. Tell matt to tell his boss I will be there as he owes me a favour for helping him do that repo job a couple years ago...
  18. Thought you guys were gonna alternate between whakatane Rotorua and Tauranga? Go have one in Whakatane, that place is surprisingly cool
  19. I hope you noticed you said its a 7.5L bike motor
