Hey guys I have 2 fuel gauges running off a single sensor, and one fuel is showing empty(I think I can fix this with a resistor?), while the other starts full and quickly shows my tank draining, is there an easy fix if I wanted both to work? Diode or something a rather? Maybe a resistor? and where does someone buy a resistor or diode from these days?

is it because its the wrong kit for the bike/engine? can you space the whole cylinder/barrel out instead?

I thought those markings on the inside of the head were fairly normal and represented how the unburnt fuel/air entered and the mostly burnt fuel/air left. I dont understand why you would need to change squish on a kit like this TBH

How do you get on with painting small stuff like your air filter housing? You eyecrometer the amount of paint you need then there is a bit of wastage on the paint? Then aim down so you dont need to mask off the entire area? Looks lush

I had a non returning regulator on my car with bike carbs, was no problem. rot808's car is running standard fuel pump with bike carbs and no return either. I think most setups can handle no return without any major problems

Springs just increase from your base speed, so my old engagement point was around 4-4500, so they are probably 2k springs

@RUNAMUCK I have since taken your advice into account, and my ears say thanks, especially now I have heavier clutch springs and only start moving at 6500rpm

come on, we are in the DIY fuel injection thread, this is about testing shit and learning, and theoretically not paying people to do stuff on your car and megasquirts are great, I have had minimal problems with mine, I just had some good knowledgeable dudes help me with it Also, this stuff is actually fairly complicated, no matter what an experienced person tells you, and requires hours upon hours of research and faffing around, with probably the wrong bits giving you the wrong info, but thats all parts of the learning experience innit

wat, just tune it yourself, its not that hard

my radiator was in good nick and cleaned, but was not good enough for my modified engine, temperature fluctuated all the time. You need to check the fan type too, as some are specified as being designed to blow, suck or both (both is usually the most common but worst type as it does neither job most efficiently)

I reckon get a bigger radiator man, I had to get a new radiator in my escort when the engine was fancied up as it kept getting hot, made my problems go away. Also bought the flashest electric fan I could get to fit into the space, fitted to the front of the radiator
