  1. Oh hell yeah. That's me emoting "she's mine" God damn that was a good week.
  2. Hey boes, comment on this burble beast here. Link to project thread here for easy reference: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/53602-hemis-1978-c10-truck/#entry1738118
  3. To add feel to those photos. I had grabbed a garbage regular machine coffee and when I hit goulburn I saw maccas and figured "well at least they have fresh beans". I rocked up about 5 mins after those buses had. 30 fucking minutes for a long black. You really early traveling school groups can go away tbh, had miles to cover.
  4. Hey guys bought camels C10 because it's the one that sold me on one when down for chopped, so when there was rumor he might be moving it on I pounced and owned it about 3 days later. Took a couple months to get down there and grab it but jumped on a plane Saturday morning and began driving it up. I'll put a better write up when I get home but for now. A couple pics. was a few good photo ops but when you've been driving all day there's little enthusiasm to do such things.
  5. Yeah. Wrong thread hah. Worst I've had is a hilux of a farm come in for a service and the oil was like tar,and I mean tar. Had to drain. Pour in a cup of kero, sit for a day, start for a minute. Stop and repeat x4.boss should have just said it was koozered.
  6. Poor engine! I actually get sad when I see that shit.
  7. Atf is amazing for everything. I use it in all air cylinders also with grease, only a little bit but it mists with normal use and spreads itself over the bore continuously. Got a sticking air cylinder? Jam that down the hatch. Would trust it way more then kero based engine cleaners.
  8. Wow. Someone hasn't been changing the oil at the right times at some point. Poor lifters.
  9. I'd use kero over petrol. But I'm picky and don't like open containers of highly flammable stuff in my face. Could runa service worth of diesel oil, had more detergents. But if it don't phase you to take it apart that's the best option.
  10. Ah, gotcha picking up what your saying now. That sounds painfully slow. Would work well though.
  11. Think they mean a hot wash water blaster Diddy. They are the shit, to bad people are nubs and don't know how to look after them so they shit themselves all the time
  12. Then your workshop has a shit 3/4" gun.
  13. Is m12 the smaller batteries? i saw them and really liked the idea, but again. balls deep in Hitachi so cant really justify another brand. i like the design/ergonomics of milwaukee too.
  14. My Ag eats the batts too. lot of power to keep that shit going, has never had a thermal shutdown though. Battery powered are a mans/ criminals best friend. Being able to go out on site, slap on a gasket stripping disc and just go is fucking awesome. have also used it for cutting gaurds that have been the victim of a blowout and slammed itself into another tyre. was cleaner and easier then unpacking the 'negotiator' set. Think my battery charger just shat itself though. hope not.
  15. Oh and impact gun i have is a short one, not the extended big block ones that can undo truck wheel nuts etc. perfect for sumps, rockers, manifolds etc. I offered up my multimeter for free and bart is keen, but i also have a snap on 3/8" nicad gun that ill donate to whoever wants it, still works legit as other then the stop clutch being gone and the snap ring was so worn it jammed itself into a socket , so i removed it. I come back into welly in november and cant see why i cant bring that back too if someone wants it. Apologies for thread hijack. *Edit* GONE.
  16. Yeah man , def not petrol powered spec, but i love it for blowing dirt and cable ties out of under trucks before jumping on a creeper, sweet for dusting yourself off without using a duster gun etc. next in line is the torch they have. i may or may not have dodgyed something up in store to test it, no one noticed so its cool. rate them hard already (bar the massive battery but that can act as a stand / counterweight etc.
  17. Have a Hitachi 1/2 rattle gun, drill and grinder. Rate them hard, 4ah batteries and they last ages. Got mine in a combo with two batteries for like $900? A couple years back and I flog the dot out of the gun. No torque setting thing and not brush less but I'm all over their tools now ( kind of committed when you buy into a brand due to charger and batteries. They have a good range ( including a hedge trimmer and weed whacker hah) Also bought a blower, it's super sweet for sweeping around the house outside. Cleaning areas of debris at work and cleaning out cabs. Can undo some decent stuff (anything 13mm and under that isn't a stretch/ torque to yield bolt. Only gripe is i left it on top of all my tools in a tub of kero one night and drove home, while not immersed it got splashed and the rubber has gone gross. BOOOOO. but still works fine after two years now and the batteries still last like weeks with moderate use.
  18. Hey kpr ( sorry dont know your name), is it cool if i share this around? over here people will lose their fucking minds that a 1600 with a massive vacuum cleaner will tear up bogs and sound off the chain doing so.
  19. Also just noted position choice of bonnet stay. Smooth rotary power.
  20. Yeah, that or the sealing washer is poozed.
  21. Dropped mine, but I'm not wearing any soo...
