Safe r Brakes quote was a lot more expensive than CBC. So pretty stoked...

Hey Guys, I just picked up the Brake Booster from CBC in Sydenham. They did a fantastic job on the rebuild and @ $240 it even came with a fresh coat of paint on it. I'm stoked with the service they provided. Helps having friendly staff as well

Thanks guys for all your feedback. I decided to go with CBC in Sydenham as his quote was $2-300. They seemed really nice to deal with and I should get it back tomorrow. So overnight is pretty good

Hey Steve, EFI_LC and I managed to solve the problem! The float needed adjusting, replaced the needle and seat and needed a good tune! It's running like a true trooper at the moment!

Hey! Does anyone have a fuel pressure gauge I could borrow!! EFI_ LC and I would like to check what pressure it's running as the carb is flooding. I've just replaced the Needle and seat but its allowing fuel in even after the float is being pushed hard against it. EFI_LC noticed it was running a later model pump without the glass bowl. Does anyone know if they run higher pressure?
