    Diff Noises

this happened to a mates open diff. popped a skid, then driving along it started to vibrate and then it conked out. havnt pulled it apart yet but seemed like the spider gears locked together. deforemed from the heat and forces perhaps.

    Diff Noises

to be on the safe side you'd be best to take the diff out and weld it up, then you can drop mad skidz boe.
  9. nah boe, black and gold. canes all the way, none of this across the ditch stuff mate.
  10. should have given her a deposit or sechual favours noob. im sure you could have come to an agrement seeing you already have all the $$ by now. If the rims are going on it you have to keep them black i reckon. Any other colour may upset the visual balance of such a subjectively viewed drift mo-chine. All green and everythign.

    Primer

Don't bother for primer, it'll stick better if it's a bit rough are you taking the piss mate? primer should also be there to smooth everything out and coverup any little nicks etc. along with saying that primer filler is good stuff, just spray it on and its sort of like a thin liquid filler, just sand back and fulls in little holes/scratchs etc.

    Primer

wouldnt you use 2k primer if the rest of the car is done in 2k?
  20. Nope. thats how cheap they are. And then it just leaves them all blackish and shit looking.

    sr20 into mkii

i just remembered i was at a site a while back where a guy was slotting a CA into a mk1. he cut and shut the sump but also moved the mounts fort he steering rack lower on the crosmember. i wasnt too sure if this would be good if you wanted to go quite low but i will try fork out the pics to show what he did.
  23. Yea the oldschool colours just make it. Trying to get a mate to do origional mustard when he reprays his ke20 (is he ever does). Mustard is just the best.
