  1. Iám not really sure what is going on in here and perhaps Iám missing something but there seems to be alot of peoples comments and opinions which are totally out the gate, I cannot believe what Iám reading.
  2. When you say square tailights what type are you referring to? do mean the Savanna hex talights?
  3. Are any of these NZ new Savanna coupes registered as Savannas at all as I did a rego check on one and it comes up 1975 RX3, did they have the Series 3 12a grilles and Savanna front lower lips at all? The brown interiors were found mainly in later model Aus spec RX3's and 808's so I'am not really sure why these so called NZ new Savanna coupes make them a Savanna if only Savanna rear 1/4 badges were applied.
  4. I'am keen to take my Luce a.k.a RX4 along, someone has to bring a rotary down right?
  5. I'am just wondering if anyone knows or can confirm if a drivers side bride seat rail to suit a Toyota GX71 will bolt directly into a Toyota GX61 floor pan at all? I'am having some problems trying to mount a Recaro seat on the drivers side as the mouting holes on the floor pan are non parallel plus the factory drivers seat is height adjustable so it is a mission trying to modify the factory driver seat rails. I had planned to use a spare set of factory passenger rails on the drives side and re-arrange the sliding mechanism lever, once again they dont run parallel when mounted to the flloor pan on the driver side. The passengers side is easy as the factory rails bolt straight to the bottom of the Recaro and are exactly the same distance apart width wise.
  6. This is all getting abit confusing can soneone please post up a definate location for this meet so we all know where we are going etc?
  7. I have a NOS Toyota fuel cap part # 77031-13012 can anyone tell me what model this is from? it appears to be early to mid 70's any help would be appreciated.
  8. Definately keen, should have a couple more cars tagging along.
  9. A respray in the original colour would be as far as I would go although your idea of a FD motor would be a cool idea as a sleeper.
  10. Interesting product list. How do the Aeroquip fluid fittings compare with Earls (they look pretty damn identical)? Do you guys do a match service - i.e. I send you various brass and steel fittings that are probably the american taper thread (is that NPT?) or BSP and you find and supply the equivilent in alloy? My problem is that I am terrible when it comes to identifying tapered threads but I have a bunch of fittings that are either brass or steel and they are too heavy so I want to replace them with alloy NPT is National Pipe Thread which is worldwide and BSP is British Standard Thread which we aren't into in a huge way in terms of stocking those fittings.
  11. Saw the 1200 on Saturday at the Swapmeet and again on the street Sunday looking good.
  12. I'm not a fan of those windscreen visors at all especially on old school jap cars just doesnt suit them, perhaps on an early holden or falcon they would be right at home its more of an Aussie look.
  13. The hubcaps look quite good and they have polished up well I really like that Jap spec familia grille I had one of those which I gave to Level 7 but it it had a diifferent center badge which I kept of course.
