  4. can run low comp rotors but if have to build it anyway u may aswell use hi comp extra power for as close to zero effort ida way cheaper option than a link can sell low comps and injection stuff aswell to offset costs

    are good semi slick track tyres good for drags aswell? i assume they are the but not sure ive got aset of 15s for the lancer that im going to get some semis for but i will be both drag racing and doing track work
  6. can anyone confirm for me if starion and sigma turbo struts are the same? not worried bout knucle bolt patterns or strut tops just the actuall struts themselves story goes starion struts and lower arms = good setup for lancer but also no sigma non turbo struts and lower arms = not good setup (positive camber) got a set of turbo sigma struts were told identical to starion but wanna make sure that way i can just get stazza lower arms heres some pics(left strut) cheers

    wheres ogre gone being trying to hit him up bout some stuff for the past two weeks but he hasnt been on here or msn? hope he hasnt fallen down in a bush somewhere also exgsr ones are a pain to fit as the spring seat is too large and hit the strut towers he cut hois off and put other ones on 1200cc lancer struts have smaller seats/springs so may be the go

  12. yea mate hoping with the hilux diff and some sticky 15 inch drag tyres/slicks i can dip into the 12s talked to the guys who are going to tune car instal link etc and they reckon 240kws isnt out of the question (im running bigger turbo, and more fuel than macabre) only problem is my gearbox will be long gone by that stage i think will probably ask for them to give me a safe 200kws wat did your car run saw some pics of it on the strip?
  13. oh tru didnt realise that given that you allready have a lancer gbox on it i think youll be fine as they bolt to 4g63s i think, so must be same pattern
  14. gidday mate your running a fwd 4g63 which means it is know as a narrowblock engine you cant bolt a starion gearbox to this engine as it is from a wideblock starion engine (this gearbox is definately the best option RWD turbo blocks are wideblock n/a rwd blocks are narrowblock (sigma, ex lancer etc) fwd blocks are all narrowblock sigma or l200 box is your best bet, identical to starion boxes (ratios, and internal specs) except the bearings are not thrust bearings i believe, so dont take quite asmuch punishment most people have have heard of having problems with these boxes wreack bearings rahter than smashing gears etc difference betwen l200 and sigma is the shifter sits about 2.5 inches further forward on the l200 than the sigma im using l200 box as it means my gearstick comes out in the factory hole not sure what it like for celeste wether its more like a sigma or lancer? with lancer all i needed was a factory starion/ or ex lancer 5 speed ( 4 speed doesnt work) gbox crossmember and it bolted up fine, if you are using a 5speed gbox crossmember i think it will work but once again not sure as i havent seen under a celeste siamg and l200 are cable clutch starion is hydraulic you rwd flywheel and starter will work fine not sure on clutch though, dunno about the splines im pretty sure ex is like a 20 spline whereas sigma/l200 is 23 spline anything else im sure one of the other boys lowlancer or caboon etc will put me straight or give you definates cheers

  17. not 100% true, how u figre that? not even 25% true boe That's Boyles law ( pV = k ). It's true for a closed system, which this is not. nah shit i was thinking bout was bernoullis theroem as the speed of a moving fluid increases, the pressure within the fluid decreases. relates to venturis and shit, is what makes planes fly
  18. just an update talked to a few peeps and they reckon 8mm outside diameter feed and 6mm outside diameter return is sweet up to around 350hp (which is waht most cars are apparently even wrxs, evos etc) any more hp and you need to upgrade

  20. hey guys am trying to take the yoke off a driveshaft i have so i can swap it over onto my other driveshaft to match my gbox and i cant get it off the uni there both mitsy d/shafts i undid the circlips but it wont budge how do i get it off? cheers
  21. ok so after talking to isnowi his lancer had positive camber after fitting starion struts caboon was thinking id end up with like neg 4 degrees so this is interesting?? anyone else got any ideas?thoughts done the swap are starion struts the same as gsr lancer ones or is it just the brakes/rotors that are? new discs arent avalible for them from repco either unless u wanna get dbas which are $250 each retail and a 3 month wait lol s would i be fine to media blast the rotors then get them machined?

  23. yeap brake system will be getting full flush and new decent fluid through out how much are the mintex likely to set me back?
