  1. New year, new project (nevermind constant V50 project) Last few days seen this old bike in bottom of a pond on my local reserve. Decided to get wet this morning and fish it out. Here it is in all its glory / rustiness: Old school single speeder with dyno for front and rear lights. Might be some sort of old Rally banana or something: Cant see any cracks in frame, wheels look true and aligned well and tyres in good condition - probably nicked but oh well. Plans are sand frame, paint white, leave single speed, remove all the shite put some racer handlebars and new brakes and some bright wheels and ride it!

  7. If you want reponse just get a TD05 16G then. Make 200kw atw all day on a subbie so prob even more on yours with less drivetrain loss. Sorry my turbo experience is exclusively with 4wd subbies - 16G spooled hard @ 3k rpm and the 20G was at like 3.5k rpm but obviously had more ceiling. To be honest you are probably better off spending time and money on airflow and making the smoothest piping and shortest route for your intercooler/turbo etc - if response is most important
  8. Where do you want to make your power in the rev range? 16G spools pretty early and hard - you wouldnt lose much going to an 18G in real world though. Get in touch with Steve Murch and get a modded TD05 -18G maybe?

  10. Common theory is that the S15 unit is better - don't thibk the earlier ones were b/b but not an sr20 guru by any means. T28 would be good for 200kw atw though easy enough?

  15. You remove it and the throttle closes where does all the air go? That fast moving air??? Yeah back into your turbo causing compressor surge - plumb it back in and your turbo wheel keeps free wheeling and in theory comes on boost quicker
  16. Hmmmm churbros and better on gas dont go well hahaha. Personally i found externally venting bovs made all my cars' economy go to shit and when you shifting get your foot pretty much right off it - not up it.
  17. Mine tends to be in vacuum when I'm open road cruising when a little load then yeah just into boost. Varies on engines/load etc right .... There is no right/wrong answer here??
