  1. The website says 26th i have work that day. Maybe they mean 25th in which case i still might not make it because of my cars being old.
  2. Nuts,. i was made to fit new plates when i wanted to keep my black ones.. Can i change them back to black post vinning?
  3. Oversized rubber will shrink. Probably made oversize so after it sits on a shelf in store a few years it will fit just fine.
  4. My ignition system died just after leaving the driveway so yeah... but i did see a lada & 1200 thing. No datsuns?
  5. Can i come if i get a car going? Thing is all my cars suck/slow/not going.
  6. Is it possible to put the disk rotors and calipers from an S13 on the KE hubs & stubaxle thingys? Might need to press a bracket for the caliper which i have never done but thought about alot.
  7. Think i did that once, had to file the little notched things & beat the old ones out, then pressed the new ones in with a vice (broke the vice at the end of the job) and while i saw someone had welded washers on the ends of one driveshaft i took apart to keep the cups in, which would make later replacing easier i think that looks rangi, as does welding the cups. Maybe using a cold chisel to stake them in a few places could work but as i never tried that on such a modern car the cups might move & the balance would be wrong.
  8. That wiring diagram, would it allow the relay on the oil light switch to stay activated even when the key was off? That might run the battery flat.
  9. Windscreen adhesive is way better than sealant if you do not want to remove it any time soon. Sealant is basically just a sealer but adhesive is hard to get. The other time i bought any the people that sold it were fags about it so i don't talk to them anymore and go to smith&smith glass dealer instead but they only want to sell giant logs of the stuff lol. Umm... double sided foam (the good stuff not $2 shop crap) plus sealant around the edges sounds good to me.
  10. i used that stick on chrome vinyl wrap on rusty bogged painted bumpers that might work for you if you get the carbon fibre. Was $50 for over a meter of it so you would have heaps left over for when it fades/peels eventually. Ok not the best idea ever but it might work.
  11. If there is nowhere for pressure to get out the oil normally gets forced out of either the rear main of front main seal. Sometimes the cam seal. Saw someones mitzi do that twice.
  12. Guess where i'm not. (be glad i'm not there i make everything suck)
  13. Hmm.. i could almost go if i left now & drove really fast.
  14. i have one in the shed now they are not noticeably heavier.
  15. i registered a trailer once, it did not fully exist i just went to VTNZ and told them i wanted to register my trailer and they handed me the plates & a sheet of paper and finished the trailer & hung the plates on it then took it for a WOF. No trouble. If the repairs are so good they cannot see them you may not need a cert'. That sounds over the top with the cameras though, i had a car revinned 6 months ago and they suggested it would be nice if it had a cert' but it was not really structural so they passed it. Not sure how that works out in your case though. Or like that other guy said, historic repairs.
