  1. It use to hate driving at low revs and at other certain revs it would feel like it had a miss. this is all gone now, runs alot smoother through the complete rev range, and likes to rev more than it use to. I put a aftermarket earthing kit in my sunny and that changed that completely, id say it would be worth checking all of yours Ed
  2. nothing to exciting. changed air and fuel filters and the thermostat to genuine items, along with the battery. replaced some of the vaccume hoses, new plugs and 8mm leads. Wof repairs which was front brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings and all the brake hoses on the left hand side of the car. have put some Pioneer TS-X7s in the back and last week the ADthree spoiler turned up so will be fitting that soon
  3. Finally got this running issue sorted. Was doing a bit of a service in the weekend and when fitting new spark plugs i found that the main earth cable from the battery to chassis to engine had come of at the engine. Refitted that along with new plugs, leads and fuel filter ands its like a completely different car to drive now!
  4. Valley inn for June and then hilltop for July?

  8. Keep of yahoo and make progress
  9. Boring update again! On saturday this decided it didnt like having injector seals and leaked fuel all over the manifolds. Looked like only from one but turns out 4 seals where half there, 1 was completely gone and the last was complete. Have replaced them all using what i could get from work and the best of the spares. Still needs 3 new ones, new hose from the rail to the injectors and then should be perfect. It also needs all new plastic injector spaces as most of them where missing chunks which is what i think made the seals go.
  10. Not really anything directly on the way, best option is to go up a couple more blocks from the 73 turn off and there is a few options around hornby, Henrys etc
  11. You can opt out and it hides the addres 100%. people like me who can check it at work still cant bring it up
  12. That ford is registered to an address in Hoon Hay. money owing on it etc but doesnt appear stolen on anything
  13. Ed your cars rule, wish i had cars as tidy as yours. Weather they are standard or not you blow my mind with your attention to detail!
  14. Just feel free to message me about any parts you want me to look at. FJ stuff is normaly easier to get than L series
  15. This has always had a issue at certain revs so tonight i finally got around to putting a genuine temp sender in for the ECU. Still has a slight issue but alot better than it use to be. Is alot smoother especially when cold and at idle. So after nats will check all the other senders for the motor out and go back to genuine nissan items as well. Includeing thermostat and temp sender for the gauge
  16. May have to jump in for a bit at nats
  17. No worries mate. Always there if you need it for another south island trip! Haha ill remember that
  18. Finally got around to fitting the rocker cover, really looks out of place with out sidedrafts on the car but that will happen soon once i get some new extractors made to suit. Current cheap coby extractors have the 4th flange welded on a angle so it enjoys to blow manifold gaskets every few months. Also finally fitted a decent steering wheel after the last one decided to destroy its self Have got some cusco camber plates to go in at some stage which will most likely happen when i sort the 280ZX struts.
  19. Should we just to speights ale house at tower junction weekend before nats or... ??
  20. It was a good day, things really went downhill after you left mine Yetchh
