I think your nuts and a bad influence on the rest of us with buying an excessive amount of cars. But that's okay Because 'old cars are like Pokemon, you gotta collect them all' -Zebradude 01-2014

^good thing you didn't aqquire that camper van trailer then Chris -
Honestly though Ive really done all I can to this thing and am quite happy with the way it looks Anything more from here would require a lot more body work to be done to get it how id want it. Eg remove rear windows and straighten it out before paint. And that's sort of out of my area of expertise which means I have to pay someone $$$ to fix it I really wish I could keep it, because changing the wheels back to standard steels actually made this thing so much more fun to drive. I put almost 200km on it yesterday aimlessly driving through the twistes out piha way and cruising through town in it and it actually wasn't a chore to drive. It was fun! I regret to say I don't think I'll be able to do this thing the justice it deserves and don't really have the time to have 3 full blown project cars on the go. Unfortunately yes it's up for sale. I need to free up some space at home to keep the parents happy and some cash to drop on something else Thats gonna replace the daily. Fuck. I'm weak. I'm gonna regret selling it. I already do I'm not really gonna try too hard though, and I'm not gonna part with it unless I get exactly what I'm after for it. Price on the window at kumeu is no longer relevant because I've got more bits to put back on it, work will be done Unless someone wants to buy a HZ ute, rusty v12 jag, ae92 Corolla, a hz ute chassis that needs a little rust done, or a HiLux (once it runs)?

^im actually glad I put the work in It looks so much better one colour

With Kumeu being this weekend, I decided to improve/ change up the look of the van so I put some work in on last Sunday, and every night all week. As I had reprimed the roof when I had the roof hole patched and the cowl panels repaired I was sick of it being two different colours. So started rubbing it down/stripping it on sunday and gave it all a fresh coat of primer and ended up pulling an all nighter thursday to re assemble, and literary bolted the wheels on friday night and left 5 minutes after to get stuck in traffic And made it friday night to sleep in the back! And yeah, Also came across another panelvan on the side of the road today on the way back from piha I NEED 2X MORE DEEP 14IN BEAUTY RINGS PLEASE, preferably with square edges as I was only able to find two good ones at Kumeu
-
That thing sounds amazing! But eyes and ears don't agree that that noise can come from a HiLux in the mud

All 7s I think unfortunately

This is what that NaN was ment to be but I suck at posting images from my phone I could only find nine of them sorry
-
Only thing is the bolting flange on the diff for the drive shaft may be incorrect It's the U bolt style and I'm pretty sure VLs used the flat faced one You could always swap the brakes onto your diff Unsure of ratio Not in huge rush to sell but am advertising it elsewhere as well as I'm trying to gather funds for next secret project

Where are you? I've got a disc rear end out of a VH sedan that I need to sell I'm auckland
