  1. Another thought. Brake pads getting low and the warning strip touching the disc?
  2. My understanding of the Virm is that you do not need an odometer for a wof, but the inspector records the odo on the check sheet and inputs it into the computer when entering the wof. I have passed cars before where a digital odo didn't work and entered an estimated odo based on the last inspection.
  3. If it sounds like a belt noise, have you checked the belts? Does it have air con? If so does the noise happen when the ac clutch kicks in?
  4. Firstly, what's a beagle?
  5. Do you have to get the recheck done at the original site? If so the 28 days is irralivant.
  6. You need a high beam warning light on the dash and a warning system if a indicator bulb is blown (dash lights flash faster)
  7. Need to paint the side windows white for some panel van action.
  8. Sweet wag man. If the glass is factory tinted it will have "AS3" etched into the glass with the safety standard. WOF inspector should be checking this. Check that it doesn't have extra film tint too.
  9. Why not use two seperate gaskets like it had originally, assuming they are the same thickness.
  10. Sweet. I admire your attention to detail. No rushing in and everything is thoroughly thought out before execution.
  11. https://www.flickr.com/photos/snoozinrichy/25368956114/ Is this the way it sits in the tank? (Pump on its side) Will it be all good with the intake sock sticking up like that if fuel gets low?
  12. Or try strong for Honda for used parts. Sounds like your Honda workshop doesn't know/care much about old cars. Find a local garage that likes the old stuff.
  13. Sweet car man. I love this shape. I got kyb gas a just shocks for my Buick from rockauto for half the price of NZ including the shipping. They were about us$35 each and made a huge difference.

  15. Some sneaky hoodlim broke into my wag and left a bottle of scrumpy on the front seat. I suspect a goatish character.
  16. Well that was enjoyable. Great way to farewell a fantastic summer of monthly meets.
  17. Dip angle is only critical if you want a wof.
  18. Fitting a Trans cooler is a good idea to keep your Trans happy but won't change the coolant temp much. Just make sure the radiator has no blockages and the coolant is good.
  19. I don't know if he is Peugeot savy, but for tranny work I use Zane in Plimmerton. https://whitepages.co.nz/w/automatic-transmission-repairs-plimmerton/
  20. Only one to tell a technician to do it.
