  1. Have you considered having all your projects in one thread?
  2. Oh man, that sucks. At least you got the wiring sorted. Do you have any pics of the trike?
  3. @Roman May have some ideas. How are you cam and crank signals at the ecu? Are you getting cam position from both banks?
  4. Congrats on reaching this milestone. Looking so good. You look pretty stoked at the end of the vid.
  5. Put your chassis number in here to find the genuine part number and go from there. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q.html
  6. I replaced my alternator with an aftermarket that was cheaper than my genuine price.
  7. That’s the closest I can find. Hope it helps.
  8. Wof rules for mirrors. pre 2000 you must have interior OR right mirror. post 2000 you must have both. If you have tints you need both side mirrors. https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general/vision/rear-view-mirrors https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general/vision/glazing see tables and images
  9. I just checked the repair manual. It says to remove the left exhaust manifold first. Good luck.
  10. Looks like standard aftermarket tow bar fitment, but you are in the money, you would want some crush tubes. They are probably still in the car it cane off, but easy enough to cut some pipe.
  11. Good advice above. There is a filter. It should be a steel mesh type that can be cleaned. Not usually changed for a Toyota Trans Service, but we don’t see a lot of them over 500k. It probably is worth taking the pan off and giving it a clean up. Make sure you use the correct fluid. Recently there has been a shortage of Toyota Genuine WS atf and we have been told to use Dexron VI.
  12. The more oldschoolers the merrier. Most turn up in modern dailies during winter. It’s more about the jugs and ribs than the rust and slam this time of year.
  13. To be “NA” you need more cargo area than passenger. Like no rear seats in a wagon.
  14. Google sent me here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/build-threads/754842-how-to-wire-up-a-1uz-engine-vvti-and-non-vvti.html https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0WE7dVhvJd_UFRKeEptSTVqaTg/edit
  15. Yeah, it should start fine with no O2 sensors plugged in. Some Toyota ECUs have the pins labeled if you pop the lid off. There are a few V8 trike fans around this place too...
  16. Same block, longer stroke. No need for recert. You can’t tell the difference from the outside. If adding a tunnel ram means you have metal poking out the bonnet that wasn’t there before you might need to see the cert man.
  17. It will be factory fitted to stop brake noise.
  18. Pity they got the G-Box wrong. It’s not a CVT.
  19. Do you mean this “replacement springs are self-retaining in their seats at full extension, without the use of non-standard devices such as wire-ties, straps, or external spring locators” I don’t believe those rubber spacers fall into that category. I have used the spacers before and passed wofs with them in.
