  1. You can buy a kit from the UK witch has all the castings, the hard part is the tappered flattend tube part, too much work realy
  2. A set of Castel forks would be cool to, Harley and Brough used them
  3. Thats a cool looking motor, if you could get an old Triumph Norton BSA ect pre unit gearbox with the clutch all you would need to do would be to make a front sproket for the end of the crank

  5. If anyone is having trobble with the CB radio side I might be able to help, it costs about $35 to get them changed to the new zealand frequencies.

  8. Is that 4cylinder flathead a runner? is this going to be a compleat resto?, I like the rusty look There is a flathead v8 sitting under a few sheets ot tin outside at my place and it still turns over

  10. Yer all the load of the engine and trans bouncing up and down, the shaft would have been the only thing stopping it from crashing down onto the road, Would a GM trans fit?
  11. Thats a nasty crack, I wouldn't try to fix it with those low temperature repair rods, the crack must have caused some misalignment and strain to make those metal flakes in the oil
  12. Those Turbo brand mufflers have a nice sound, they are a straight thrugh glasspack but look like that ovel black muffler you have
  13. Your alternator may over heat if it couldn't keep up
  14. I saw segedins were selling bigger pulleys for slowing the alternator down, I thought one of the good things about alternators is they would charg at any speed? Some hot rods run them off the driveshaft

  18. Those sealed lead acid batterys last a long time, I found a place in auckland witch sells them for $45 each as they have been sitting at auto shops too long and they need to move them fast, they have a 12 month warranty.

    I have allways wondered with Flowmaster and Spinntec they say it helps suck the gas out, I carn't see this happening or believe it, I think a Spinntec would be realy restrictive, same with a Suppertrapp.

  24. Have you started making the extractors yet? I live your twin carb setup, dose it have 4 exhaust ports or 2? Might need to do some of this if you take the motor apart
