JustHarry Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 How much water are we expecting @Mof I as if yet havnt added longer breathers to the cruiser. Its got the factory ones that go up to the floor but that's it Quote
Mof Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 The Mackley river on the way to Denniston should be the deepest, I posted a picture on page 1. But every track has a river or creek to navigate 1 Quote
Mof Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Do ya want some teaser/ reference pics? Quote

Mof Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Mackley river Nobles creek (caves) There's some rivers I couldn't find pics for. Waipuna river before the caves to Napoleon hill is more like a large creek. The Greenstone river at the end of Noname road is much better since the local landowner changed the exit position. Not deep. This all depends on rainfall of course 4 Quote
Mof Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Chinamans creek, Slab hut creek at Green Hut/Commissioners flat Quote
Mof Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Fancy some bonus non-river pics? Green hut track Full of blardy Pajeros m8 2 Quote
Mof Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 So @DoBro Jesus @JustHarry @00quattro00 @Slacker_Sam. @NickJ What sort of gear do you have on board? Really I just want to see if at least one other vehicle has a snatch strap. And a shovel or spade. If someone else has a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit that wouldn't go amiss too. And recovery points, @DoBro Jesus has the L200 got something? 2 Quote
DoBro Jesus Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Yeah so I've got a snatch strap, 12v compressor for doing tyres, tools, hatchet, pruning saw, shovel, little shitty folding shovel too, hi lift jack. Dunno about toms l200, it's pretty much bone stock on ATs haha. I'll ask him about recovery points. Quote
JustHarry Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I'll have a fire extinguisher. Prob a small shovel and some basic first aid Got no recovery gear though. Getting a uhf this arvo Quote
DoBro Jesus Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 I'll just take the fire extinguisher off the back of my ranger. And yeah will have 2, 2w uhf handhelds. Quote

Mof Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 If we take two chainsaws, there won't be any trees down Quote
Slacker_Sam. Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I've got a snatch strap, a shitty shovel, installing a rear recovery point this weekend, ill steal the fire extinguisher from the work ute, and a selection of basic tools. 1 Quote
DoBro Jesus Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Willie's also just said he's got all recovery gear, and will have his winch mounted and ready too. Food wise, does everyone just wanna fend for themselves? Or do we wanna do communal meals. Or just eat at the pub every night haha. Quote
DoBro Jesus Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Looks like there's a couple to choose from. Could bring little gas stove thing to have snags on the run while we're out and about haha. 1 Quote
