SiRge
Go to a paint supplier and pick up some 3M polish compound, autosol is good and all... but you can get several stages of polishing compound that will give you easier and probably better results.
Matteybean
Hi. I also had my ss05 superstars dipped at powerstrip industries. A++ . They have a "kfc" recipe which won't peel chrome too. I've also had my bootlid, all my dirty door hinges etc. The wheels come back in a "mill" finish . The same finish you would have if you brought some new lips before polishing. I took my wheels to progressive polishers n electroplaters in new Lyn Auckland to polish up my wheels came up a million bucks. 41 degree wheels also are pretty cheap for polishing up ya wheels. kempy
I have one of these polishers if you want to borrow it, could possibly spare a mop to go with it.

I'd definitely be into borrowing that if you don't mind ... box of beers etc if you'd be keen.

oldrx7
Managed to get some 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper and polished and painted another 2, came up a bit better than the first - time consuming and looks like they're just gonna be my skid wheels for drag day I'm thinking. Any updates on the wheels Roman?
Roman
Nice one! I havent made much more progress as sometime after starting I moved house / split with mrs / etc.But I need to get my tyres swapped over onto those wheels in the next week or so, so I'll have street tyres in time for first Superlap event which is on 2nd December. Will put some more time in this weekend!
