Lowering the front of a Datsun 1200.... best options?

Hey guys

So I'm keen to get my Datsun 1200 truck drivable and legal. But I also want it lowered.

So Far I have had the rear springs reset, and will be adding a block of some sort to the rear also,

But what to do with the front????

Its currently sitting on cut compressed springs that do not fit at all in the front, so looking for options here.

Any suggested spring and shock combos that work the best? I don't mind modifying some stuff, have considered shortening the top of the strut tube to give a bit more travel with bump stop life if a shorter shock was to be used

So yeah, this is how it currently sits,

and is not as low as I would prefer. although I also have not taken a tape measure to it.

Thanks, any suggestions would be splendid

oh yip, I wouldn't have a clue if mine are the same as 120y to be honest.

such a mix of everything lol

Hmmm..... I wonder if 80mm might be pushing the boundaries of the keeping it legal height thing lol

What I shall do, is measure what I have now, jack it up till the shock tops out, and figure it out from there.

If only certs weren't so over priced and hard to get these days
