OldNathan
Quick question. Does anyone know if there is somewhere you can get different thickness engine mount rubber? My mounts are made off my V12 and match the subframe perfect but my factory M series mounts are to thick. I'm looking at making a custom block to space it up about 25mm but wondering if there are universal rubber mounts out there people might have adapted in the past? Or if there is a skinnier M series mount then a MEU mount. Cheers
brocky41
Have a look at the Kelpro and or Mckay books at your local BNT (or whoever you use) you may be able to match something up thats the right height etc from there - i know in my 120Y i used a Jag mount on one side and a Ford one on the other as one was taller (needed it that way). OldNathan
Sweet that's what I'm after. Having a brief look on uncle Google, L series datsun mounts look nice and skinny. I'm looking for something around 30mm I can adapt

nvmyvl
Have you got the parts apart from the rubber? If so I should be able to pour urethane into them to make up the mounts.
nvmyvl
Or else I can supply polyurethane blocks in what ever size you want. And what ever shore hardness you want
Rookie
Just ring the mount shop with all of the dimensions that you need and they will have something that is workable.

OldNathan
Thanks guys. Stil working out what's best for this application. I went to BNT and there is a Ford mount that is 70mm round with just a thread out each side. Its only 25mm thick too. I could then drill a hole in the flat on the subframe mount anywhere the engine mount sits.
Seedy Al
just do that with with a 5mm plate under one side
