Thousand Dollar Supercar
Sounds cool. They also have a fireworks display at this event. I shall attend. Thrills and spills, smoke and sparks... Entry costs $20, and you must bring cash to buy food. Not EFTPOS, oldschool cash.

Thousand Dollar Supercar
/ supercars bringing the sandwhiches Sandwiches are lame. Better to get takeaway pizzas, and a sharp piece of rusty Alfa as a weapon to defend the pizzas, cos Onehunga is full of thugs. Have you guys managed to bring in outside food and alcohol OK in the past? There's nothing on the website about it.
manlymanman
Just hide it in your handbag. I have discovered recently that even my smallest purse is big enough to take home a teapot in.

LingLing
Are these cars look like the buggy dirt cars?
Thousand Dollar Supercar
Are these cars look like the buggy dirt cars? No, not really. They're dirt oval racecars not offroad buggies. Most of the evening will be racing from the several serious race classes which regularly compete here - cars like this: The cars for the demolition derby, which is always the last event, are normal road cars prepared and driven by 'normal' members of the public. Some of us from this forum have entered these derbies in the past.... Sometimes they also let the demolition derby cars drive around in non-contact races earlier in the evening. Because this meet has both a demolition derby and a fireworks display (racing, smashes and explosions, what more do you want for $20?), it may be well attended and you won't wanna turn up late. Thousand Dollar Supercar
who's going? weather looks bad bro. Everybody's going. No weather-dependent members in this forum. Do we meet at the gates or something? Nobody has thought of that. ^ I blame this guy. He started the thread. ^

Thousand Dollar Supercar
They sell alcohol on site, so there can't be a drinking ban.. Beyond that I dunno / put it in your handbag.
