anton f
anyone no if you fuel inject a 1.6 crossflow engine if you get any more performance out of it compared to twin side dafts?
andy
I would imagine you would have more "tunability" or it would at least be a little more simple than playing with jets and venturi's. For my 2cents worth however and being that im kinda a purist for these type of things, I would go with the dcoe's. Webers not dellortos. They look better and sound better. Fuel injection doesnt chortle. And electronic fuel injection isnt oldschool lol.
OSM Garage
Injection = Reliable performance
anton f
i was going to put a small turbo on it as well so i thought injection would be better performance wise
Hemi
dont , if you want turbo and efi just get a motor that is designed for it. sure the kent will go faster , but only until the pistons/ bearing/ mains give way . ca,sr,zetec,13b . these are all motors you should be looking at. or just keep it carb! anton f
the whole point of doing it was to make it different. i wouldnt be running much in it just 5 or 6 pounds enough to give it an extra boost the whole engine is pretty modified anyway
Hemi
hey man if your that keen go for it , its your car chap! but im just saying for that amount for effort and $$ you might as well get somthing that was designed for such things .
