Raizer
5 speed it. Its a fuck around getting the kent box behind the pinto and there that weak even without dumping the clutch you will probably kill it. I used to literally snap them down changing with a worked 1600. Josh027
Considering all options aye, if I could find a sierra 5 speed conversion kit with driveshaft to suit would be going with that!
Goblin
would be keen to buy the 1600 if u go pinto lol
Josh027
Looks like its gonna be a while before I can sort everything for the conversion with going to do it once, do it right and all that. UNLESS I can find a kit for the gearbox side
hulse12
Leaves look sweet bro! I've noticed my car leans to the left a lil bit too.. Well not anymore since I got adjusties up front but I think the back still has a little sway to the right.. Car's coming along mint!
mfordy
Shock absorbers don't control the ride height - thats determnined solely by the springs and yours are probably a bit tired!.. Get them reset or replaced to the correct height. But while you're at it, you should probably replace the shocks and bushes as well - depends how deep your pockets are. Koni do a good range of standard and performance shocks.
Sparkle
Looks better lower! Did ya use Archers in the end? For shocks, go see the boys at Autolighn on campbell? st. Tell them Cam that used to be at Heavy Trucks sent you.
Llama
Few months late, the springs may have settled after so long and hence given you the uneven look, but (on MGs) atleast it's actually the shell that slowly creeps over time far more often that it is the springs on one side gone soft. Just my 2c
Josh027
I feel like me replying is like being very late to my own party! Have learnt to love the little pimp limp it has to the right - once the big build gets underway it shall hopefully be no more!
locost_bryan
For brake and diff options, go visit palmside.co.nz, and have a look at their rally stuff. Should give you some ideas how the factory did things.
J-W-G
Diff go B1600 or courier. Brakes go wilwoods or princess with 257 mm ford laser disks.
Josh027
Palmside definitely are the biz for that stuff! Will definitely be getting in contact with them for advice and whatnot Will be probably going wilwoods for the brakes. Not too sure about diff - lsd for sure though
