Beaver
its a long shot, but perhaps a panel beater might be worth a shot......
My name is Russell
I would start by tring to find a new door, whats the car?
SP450andLE
Problem is probably with the panel where the hinges connect to, not the door itself. Happened to my Bro's (lincooln's) Vitara in the wind one day. We have just left that as is though, so haven't seen whether it is easy to fix or not

Valiant
Doesn't look to bad. You should able to lift that door up by hand or gently with a jack and a piece of wood. May be buy a lower door hinge and tap the pillar back into shape if need be.
troyzakp60
yeah i tried jack and wood,a little difference my just take door off in weekend and have a fiddle round with it
bubblegoose
i doubt it would have moved the a-pillar, try slackening off the hinges then lifting it up. if not then youve bent the hinges/door
troyzakp60
mean will do so it could be an easy fix
Bling
Going by the photos although that 'arm' might be damaged, pretty sure its only to limit the door from opening too far. Compare hinges / area they bolt to, to the other side and go from there. Just taking a guess, photos don't show hinges. So that's where i'd start. I don't recall if the hinges are the same left to right or not. If they are, swap the passenger side hinges over and see if that fixes it. If it does... then you know what to replace. troyzakp60
yeah i have a feeling it is the hinges now,im going to take the gaurd of in the weekend and see what i can do
EvoBilly
the hinges usually have a bigger hole so they sort of slotted if you loosen the bolts off and slide it up usually its easier to take the guard of and loosen shut the door then lift a little to take the weight off and do them up then test till its right
